Compact size, quilted maple top, and abalone hummingbird & flower inlay.

The hummingbird is a symbol of love, joy, and beauty. When the hummingbird hovers over flowers while drinking nectar, we learn that we should savor each moment, and appreciate the things we love. It reminds us that if we find joy in what we do, we become light as a feather, and life is rich with nectar.

The hummingbird is also a symbol of great strength as they are able to hover for as much as 50 minutes in one place. Because of this, it symbolizes the ability to accomplish the seemingly impossible.

Luna Guitars' iridescent Hummingbird hovers at the sound hole drawing nectar from a pink abalone flower. Its petite parlor size body includes a B-band preamp system and, like its namesake, is powerful beyond expectation.

Plugged in, the state-of-the-art B-Band preamp tuner maintains the intimate and natural acoustic tonal quality of this fine instrument. The B-Band provides a 3-band EQ with volume control, built-in tuner, and phase switch to fight feedback. Case sold separately.

Comments about Luna Guitars Fauna Hummingbird Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I'm so happy I got this guitar! I had a parlor muse Luna previously that I got when I was 14 and now I am 16 and am an improved guitarists so decided to step it up. This guitar is a bit heavier than my last because it has the ability to be plugged into an amp (awesome) and a more elaborate tune. I love it's look, very feminine. It's a good size for girls like me with shorter, small arms and smaller hands with small, short fingers to match. It has a very nice, loud and full sound unlike my muse parlor Luna guitar which was much quieter and just didn't sound as great especially when playing riffs as oppose to chords. The only annoying thing is the glossy feel to the neck when I'm moving quickly back and forth down the neck playing something my thumb sitting at the top or hand/palm holding the back of the neck while my fingers rock the strings may stick to the glossy neck and slow me down a lot, the matte neck on my muse parlor was way better for playing with. All in all, amazing guitar and should not let you down!

used humingbird

Comments about Luna Guitars Fauna Hummingbird Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The workmanship over all is very good. The acoustic sound is good for such a small box. The damage to the headstock should have been disclosed.
The Luna Hummingbird is a beautiful little guitar but this one had been damaged on the headstock and that was not disclosed.
The neck is true and it plays very well across the full range. The electronics are not balanced and the lower end is quiet compared to the high strings.
This was a below average value.

Huge Surprise

Comments about Luna Guitars Fauna Hummingbird Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

While everything about my H-Bird is exceptional the only thing I don't like is it's made in China and set up in the USA. However, I must say that this git is a gem....amazingly well designed, assembled and set up. I would definitely recommend the Luna H-Bird from my experience. It stays in tune almost 100% of the time out of the case. Once in a while I have to tweak one string, but hardly at all. This is a great git.
Absolutely beautiful git. Acoustic/electric, built in tuner works great. Inlay is amazing, fretboard inlay is waaaaay cool (moon phases).
Rigtht out of the box, this axe looked, felt and played like a dream. Great action all the way up and down the fretboard. VERY slight low E string buzz, but easily corrected. I couldn't believe how nice this git was when I took it out of the box, tuned it (strings were consistently 1 step low....guess whoever set this baby up knew what they were doing) and started playing. It still amazes me every time I pick it up. On the other hand, and slightly unrelated.....I picked up a Butterfly version of the Luna line in a store and I must say that if that was my only exposure to this line (Luna) I would NEVER purchase one. Luckily, the Hummingbird I ordered before seeing the Butterfly - it was lousy action all over the neck, electronics were mounted crooked - WAY ugly- and looked totally cheap and just slapped on. No kidding, it was a horrible sight. The inlay was pretty, but like I said if I'd have seen the B-Fly prior to my H-Bird purchase, I'd have never bought. The H-Bird is a parlor size, and has kind of a smaller sound, but tha'ts a parlor. I cannot and will not complain about anything with this guitar.
For the price this git is amazing. That's all there is to it. Tones are beautiful from low to high, playability is so smooth it almost makes me cry. Very very sweet axe for the price.
