luna trinity dreadnought review

Comments about Luna Guitars Trinity Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years.I have been in an all acoustic rock/blues band for 12 years.I know now that I will never find the perfect guitar but this guitar comes close. My Taylor might have a little warmer sound but it is also 13 years old and has aged on the road. And it shows.
I am worried about this guitar in the long run because of the things I pointed out.I will probably end up returning it to luna under there warranty and get a replacement or fixed if possible but I will definately stay with this guitar.Tone is great and action is low and clean.
Trinity soundhole, maple binding, phases of moon inlay on fretboard, lots of pretties you can see in the pics.Soundhole does not hold the volume back.Plus it helps control feedback. No soundhole cover needed when playing live.19 frets.
B-band system is very nice.Tuner is high quality.Lots of body plugged in.
Heres where it hurts.Behind the bridge I can feel the spruce top pulling up very slightly. If I rub my hand across the body behind the bridge I can feel a rise. This sucks.Over time it will only get worse.
That is the only big issue and that is plenty big.
Some smaller things--Inside the soundhole,on the inside edges, the finish is not there.
At the end of the fretboard where it meets the soundhole there is glue smeared.
When I first got the guitar and opened the box the smell of glue was very strong. Not sure why.
Even though I am disapointed at the quality,I love the feel and sound of this guitar.
I played it live the other night for the first time and I only heard good things. The look is cool and the tone is great.I would buy another one and just hope I get a good one.

Simply Wonderful

Comments about Luna Guitars Trinity Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

So I've had my Luna Trinity Dreadnought for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. I run it straight through our church sound board with hardly any effects on it and sounds and feels awesome, not to mention it's a beautiful guitar. It sounds like a much more expensive guitar. Love it!!!
