Martin

A true traditional 000 acoustic guitar with a shorter 24.9" scale and appointments that match Martin's D-18 dreadnought. The shorter scale yields a lighter, more delicate feel to the string action. The 000-18 includes deluxe Martin hardshell case ($160 value)

The 000-18 has the most beautiful soft mahogany sound to it.  For any fans of mahagony, little is needed to be said.  For fingerstyle, it has a very special sound to it; and is wonderful for acoustic blues.  It is a no frills guitar, with all expense in the instrument itself.  It is beautiful in its simplicity.  I have a picture of Bob Dylan playing the 000-18 in 1970.  It for for fingerstyle folk and blues.  I love it for fingerpicking Christmas tunes and use it every day in practice.  The sound is soft and it is beautiful. This is a great guitar for the cost.

This guitar radiates with beautiful tone!  One gets the impression that this tone is in the wood of the guitar, eager to come out, wanting wholeheartedly to please appreciative ears.  Play an E on the third or fourth strings and you will hear the most beautiful vibrations ever created.  Magnificent!

I own a number of very fine guitars (Martins, Taylors, Alvarez-Yairi) and this guitar is the finest in my collection. Note: I do own a 1955 000-18 so it's mellowed through the years! This is one fine guitar with great mellow sound, easy to play. It has a bit smaller body than some other guitars, but does not lack on sound. Very rich. You'll love this guitar!

I've owned this guitar of around 5 years own and my only complaint is that it's neck just dosen't feel right to me I'm pretty sure its a C shape but it's really thin and makes bar chords difficult.  Its sound is really bluesy, its not that good for modern stuff in my opinion its more raw blues and light rock to it.  Its also a martin and martins always have a sound of their own.  I'd rather have a D-28.

I was going to buy a D-18 and the night before I was going to my local music store, I was noodling around at a different store and played this OOO. It was so loud I made up my mind that night and bought it. It is great, comfortable, loud, with a balanced tone, playes well all the way up the neck, and ym only complaint is that I like ebony more than rosewood. Get this guitar, you will be happy.
