Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

I tried out one of these at Guitar Center yesterday. What a beautiful tone. The factory set-up was easy to play. The v-shape had a beautiful feel, and nice soft satin finish. As soon as i strummed a chord i imagined how good this would be in a recording studio. Crystal clear, expressive, good tight bottom end.I have never played an acoustic that sounded this good, and i am a long-time martin 000 owner (i will have to trade up someday). This is hands and feet above any standard martin - and i can only imagine what the "authentic" has over the "golden era" - but they are twice the price.

Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for 30+ years now. This is the finest guitar I have ever played or owned. The tone you get from this guitar is simply incredible! Martin hit it out of the park with this one.

Great for fingerstyle guitar.

Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

I've owned this guitar for two years now and it is buy far the best guitar I've ever owned. Great for blues because of the shorter scale bends are easy and the sound is fantastic. The only problem I've had with this guitar is keeping the guitar from drying out. I've owned a few guitars in the last 35 years and this one is always thirsty.

Beautiful voice

Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

The Martin 000-18 GE (sunburst) is a pretty guitar? gorgeous wood with attractive tortoise color binding (photos don?t do it justice). Most importantly: it has one BEAUTIFUL voice? not bright and brassy, but rich and luscious? which sold me on this instrument. It has a carefully-tuned scale so it goes easily from one key to another without tweaking the tuning. Nicely playable as built - mine needed no adjusting.

Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

Awsome reproduction of the famous Golden Era Martin. I have only owned this guitar for three months, but you can already tell it is going to mature into a fantastic axe. It's loud, vibrant and tonefull.

Comments about Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 Sunburst Acoustic Guitar:

played very well with good ring and the tone was real decent, the neck was true and the price was right, so what else is there a person should expect from a good instrument?
