Comments about Martin 15 Series 000-15M Burst Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:

I've wanted a 15 series for many years now but found the simple brown finish unappealing. With this new Burst I jumped at the chance. I can tell you this is not only a warm sounding excellent finger style guitar, the satin Burst finish is over the top. I am so impressed with the sound and playability. If you are going to get a 000 size guitar, do yourself a big favor and check this one out. I tried both Gibson and Taylor... they don't really compare, the Gibsons seem tight, almost strained in tone in comparison. Taylors were not appealing to my ear, sorry. Get a Martin 15 Burst. I know you won't be disappointed. On a scale of ten this guitar is a 15!

Comments about Martin 15 Series 000-15M Burst Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:

Upon opening the case....beautiful. Superb craftsmanship and quality. She smells good enough to eat, so I named her Lily. The fingerboard is effortless and as you pick her she sounds unlike any other. I was apprehensive about the butterbean tuners.......love them. This is my first Martin, I am soooo pleased:)

Comments about Martin 15 Series 000-15M Burst Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:

Upon opening the case, she is absolutely beautiful. The case is awesome, the fit is perfectly snug, she is very well cared for while traveling. You pick her up..... the amazing quality, and she smells good enough to eat. These Martin cats are incredible with attention to detail. As you pick her, she sings on her own. Effortless fingerboard. I was apprehensive about the butterbean tuners.......I love them. I named her Lily:)

Comments about Martin 15 Series 000-15M Burst Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is absolutely amazing. I have a Blueridge dreadnought, and it is a great guitar; good tone, projection, very easy to play. I could spend some serious time bragging on the Blueridge, but it does not come close to the playability, craftsmanship, tone and beauty of this Martin. I was astounded that there could be such a difference. I have played very expensive, American made Taylor guitars, and they also don't come close. And on top of all the functional quality, it smells good enough to be dessert!

I specifically wanted an all mahogany guitar, and my only real struggle of choice was between this body and the dreadnought. I will concede that this body doesnt have the bass boom of a dreadnought, but that is the only knock. It is not weak by any means, just not quite as powerful as the dread. However, the mahogany and the nonscalloped bracing produces such a full and deep tone that I don't feel robbed by the lack of bass punch. Ultimately, I bought this guitar size for comfort and it was a great choice for me.

Read the reviews of this guitar before buying and they were right. Really easy, fun to play. Sounds great. Looks incredible. Is it wrong to say that I like the way that it smells?
