Custom J-18 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar

From the front, this special Custom J-18 Jumbo from Martin has the look of a classic, pristine acoustic hidden in a closet for years with its Adirondack spruce top and non-catalyzed gloss finish with aging toner that gives it that yesteryear appeal.

The black ebony fingerboard and headplate have also been bound in flamed mahogany. and you'll also see flamed mahogany binding. Turn it over and there's the natural reddish-brown beauty of cocobolo juxtaposed with the subtle rippling of a flamed mahogany wedge and Style 45 Golden Era with D-18 inlay purfling.

This Custom J-18 features hot hide glue construction throughout, Sitka scalloped Golden Era bracing with Adirondack tone bars and to ensure it'll last for years to come. Other appointments include a bone nut, Style 45 rosette with paua pearl and wood fiber inlays, a Performing Artist profile neck, a tortoise pickguard and Gold Grover StaTite tuners.
