Comments about Martin D-17M Acoustic Guitar:

Purchased locally. I needed to hold, play and hear this guitar in person. Believe me when I say, you wont' be disappointed. This guitar is truly unbelievable! It is well fitted, no finish could be more perfect, the color of the sound board, just blows me away. The small understated touches, make it a beauty to behold, the neck shape and fretwork make it so easy to play. And the sound from this guitar is pure joy.

Comments about Martin D-17M Acoustic Guitar:

I have been playing for 15 years, and I have owned some pretty nice guitars including a Taylor GA5 that I still have and a Taylor 310 that I regret selling. From a sound perspective, this one is special. I never expected a brand new spruce top guitar to be this open and full sounding. Overall the sound is very balanced with a very sweet high end. Individual notes project nicely. While the cosmetics on this model are understated, fit and finish are flawless. I absolutely could not be happier with my purchase.

Comments about Martin D-17M Acoustic Guitar:

I purchased primarily for the shaded top, the modified low oval neck shape, and mahogany back and sides. I couldn't be happier with this instrument. The tuning machines are smoother than those on my D18 Vintage series. Martin hit it outta the park with this one. I'm lovin' the satin finish on the back, sides and neck. I own two rosewood Martins and two mahogany. I prefer the "Hog". Try this instrument! If you love the feel and the sound of Martin's, as I do, you'll find this instrument a great value.

Comments about Martin D-17M Acoustic Guitar:

Everything about this guitar is plain and simple. The sound, tuners, case and workmanship is perfect as a human can do. Even the box it comes in is special, everything that America stands for before selling out, this is U.S. at it's best. After playng a couple songs I catch myself sitting for 15 min. just looking at it in amazement. The case and it's inside is so comfortable and aromatic that If I was 16" tall I would crawl inside and take a much needed nap. I am blessed to hold, play and own this puppy.
