Enhanced "Easy Mode" Simplifies Operation
F1 Aura+ offers a simplified set of user controls called Easy Mode. This mode allows you to quickly get a feel for the tonal possibilities of F1 Aura+ while providing quick access to the most important features you’ll need every day.
Simply press the Tone control to step through 3 custom-blended Aura Image presets as well as audition the uneffected, Gold Plus pickup sound. The one-knob Tone control blends between a natural, undersaddle sound with no EQ (flat) on up to a “scooped” tone with emphasized treble & bass and reduced midrange.
Same great performance and power
For the real tone-tweakers, we’ve retained the original Performance Mode as well, giving you full access to F1 Aura’s powerful 3-band EQs, compressor and automatic anti-feedback. Includes case.
Martin Performing Artist guitar with Fishman F1 Aura + onboard electronics, sounds as spectacular as it looks.

Comments about Martin OMCPA1 Plus Performing Artist Series Plus Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
OK...I have had various imports, Gibson, Ovation/Adamas, Larrivee, and a couple of US Martins. Beyond my Adamas 12-string, no other acoustic really fit the entire bill. Then I began to read glowing reviews of the Performing Artist series (especially the higher end ones) and while having mixed feelings about a D-18 I owned a few years back I thought let's give Martin a second chance.
I decided on the OMCPA1 because (1) I had never tried an orchestra body and (2) I got the deal of the century.
Let's talk aesthetics. This guitar is a work of art. No over-the-top appointments, but very tasteful body/neck/headstock/back binding, rosette rings, and fretboard inlays. Headstock logo inlay is a beautiful departure from the standard Martin style. You immediately see that this is a world class guitar built with the artist in mind yet reflecting the pride of a Martin built instrument.
The electronics are nothing short of amazing. I cannot even begin to tap into the Fishman F1 Aura+ possibilities, and probably won't because the guitar sounds so frickin' good at the default setting. All I can say is the myriad of tonal possibilities make one ponder the significance of short-person behavior in pedal-depressed panchromatic resonance and other highly ambient domains (I miss you Francis Vincent).
A proper setup for your specific style is make-or-break. I play a combination of rhythm strumming, flatpicking, and fingerpicking so I had a most excellent (wink-wink/nod-nod) tech do his magic. Action is medium-low, not as low as one could go, but comfortable without any string buzz regardless of how attacked. The fretboard is very, very comfortable, the frets not too low or too high, very easy to do barre or mid-string jazz chords, lead runs, and open chords ring out like one would expect from a Martin.
This guitar rocks.
I could go on for ever (at least 25,000 characters) about how good this instrument really is. Truth be, after picking at strings for a very, very long time, this is my last six string acoustic. Just as my Adamas twelve string, I have made a connection with the guitar that was never there before. Like love, when it is right you know it...and I love this guitar.
Worth every penny, the Martin OMCPA1 is just about as perfect as an acoustic guitar can get...regardless of brand or price-point.
