Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This Mitchell guitar is surprisingly well made for this price range. Solid body helps with wonderful tonality. The action is good on it. I haven't played it much through an amp. It has a battery inside that had been jarred out of its holder upon delivery. I had to loosen the strings to get to it. Not a huge deal. The guitar arrived damaged apparently from shipping. The very end of the guitar had a dent where the laminant meets the wood. MF is replacing it but my son was disappointed to have to send it back. I think simply wrapping the tuning end with bubble wrap may have helped. It appeared to be packaged well, inside of two boxes, but this is more testament to UPS being rough with it than MF neglecting the packaging. The guitar is beautiful and is an unbelievable value.

    Great Price, and Great Guitar

    By Anonymous

Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

To be honest, I have never heard of a Mitchell until I sat down and played this guitar the other day. I was very surprised at how well it played and sounded. The cutaway body is perfect for access to the higher frets and it rings so clearly even at the highest registers. The appearance of the guitar is very appealing, and wood work on this guitar is definitely eye-catching. I was very surprised when I saw that this guitar was so affordable. I played several higher end guitars, and this Mitchell easily matched some of them in sound quality, looks, and playability. Beginners, intermediates, and old pros alike should give this guitar a shot. It is a great playing road or home guitar that you don't have to worry about every time you take it out to play.

    Good Buy, Man

Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I just got this guitar like 2 days ago. When i was told what it cost, I expected an average high-action, shallow sounding acoustic. After I plated it I knew I was wrong. I give the playability a 9 out of 10, the tone a 9 out of 10, and the electronics a 7 out of 10, but this could be because I'm plugging it through the clean channel on my electric amp. By the way, its worth the $$.

    Great Value Great Sound

Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar so I could take it places that my I didn't want to take my Taylor, like the beach and to partys that it might get bumped around. But this is much better than I would have thought. This guitar is worth the money. It's not my Taylor but still pretty darn good. I can keep this one on the stand in the music room all the time, and not worry about it.The back of this guitar is just gorgeous. Easy to play, good looking, and seperate treble, bass, and volume control. A little tough to change the battery with my big hands, but if you loosen the strings you can get it done without removing them. I,m not easy to please and this is a sound value.

    Great Acoustic Sound!!!

Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Don't let the price fool you. This is absolutely a great sounding dreadnought guitar whether it's plugged in or not. I've owned this guitar now for about two weeks and I didn't notice any problem with it. I did switch out the strings and boy after that change, it just got even sweeter. Nice low tones come out of this baby. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Mitchell MD100CE Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I went to get this guitar with an experienced musician whos been playing for 6 years. I sat down and stummed for about 45 minutes and I got really comfortable with it. I've only been playing for about 2 weeks and it's really good for beginners. I'ts very cheap as well. I highly recommend it.
