Music Man

A revolutionary system for creating unique pickup combinations and sounds spontaneously.

Imagine being able to change the electrical system of your guitar at the click of a mouse, creating new sounds on the fly.

The Reflex "Game Changer" guitar from Ernie Ball/Music Man has a USB port that interfaces with software that controls all aspects of internal pickup switching - series, parallel, in phase, out of phase, etc. After creating a setup, you can then store the particular pickup configuration in your guitar for live performance.

Though it may look like one on its surface, the Game Changer Reflex is no ordinary guitar. Equipped with the new Game Changer pickup switching system, the Game Changer Reflex guitar will give you an unprecedented number of tonal options in addition to the superb playability players are accustomed to from a Music Man guitar.

With the Game Changer Reflex guitar, players can unlock their instruments' tonal possibilities with the patent-pending Game Changer pickup switching system. Combining any order of pickup coils in series, parallel, in- or out-of-phase gives you access to the most extensive library of never-before-heard tones. Envisage having complete tonal control of your instrument without manually rewiring anything! True to form, the audio signal is never digitized or modeled in any way, providing a transparent analog signal path for the absolute purist. In conjunction with The Game Changer website, you can create, save, and share your tonal selections with the world! Includes case.

Comments about Music Man Game Changer Reflex HSH with Tremolo and Piezo Electric Guitar:

When I heard of TGC I was immediately intrigued by the multi-pickup functionality, besides having wanted to own a Music Man for a long time. I decided to go with the HSHP model. I've been playing it for a week now and couldn't be happier! The build is flawless, and the tone is amazing. The hard case is really nice and is fitted for the Reflex shape. As advertised, TGC pickup system and its web interface is a breeze to use. I got to test it out live for a worship service, and next week I plan to use an A/B splitter so the piezo can go straight to the PA without the amp. Don't be afraid of the million pickup configurations. I've found that my preference is fairly simple and is to be able to find the few pickup settings that I really like and arrange them as I like. For example I set the A bank to my current favorite HH configurations, use the B bank for a standard 5-way SSS, and set the upper Z switch to only toggle the piezo on or kick back to the previous position. TGC is a fairly pricey guitar, but it is quality and I don't see ever being able to "outplay" it. Great job Music Man!

Comments about Music Man Game Changer Reflex HSH with Tremolo and Piezo Electric Guitar:

All I can say is this is one of the best guitars ever made. Music Man really did outdo themselves with this thing. So many different options on how you the user want to play this guitar. You will probably never stop experimenting with the different things you like. Quality is top notch and the guitar plays and sounds great too. If you are a studio musician, you will really love this guitar even more as you have endless possibilities in the recording studio.
