Comments about Jackson Pro Dinky DK2QM HT Electric Guitar:

CRAFTSMANSHIP: i'm pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied with this instrument. i've read lots of negative things regarding buying mexican made guitars, not just jacksons, but i have since dismissed them. everything is just the way it should be. the knobs were perfectly perpendicular to the top, and upon turning them from zero to ten, the tiny gap is consistent with no rubbing (something that bothers me about my ibanez RG 421 and every other guitar that had that issue). the switch feels stout and is quiet when switching / repositioning. the string spacing was perfect. the gaps between the top and bottom strings and the edge of the fretboard were equal (i always check for this first since i bought a JS32 indonesia made guitar that was WAY offset and unplayable, with the bottom string even with the edge of the neck!) the tuners are great and allow for fine adjustment, unlike my JS22, it has tuners that are more geared down. the pickups are installed properly and the pole height is optimal. the frets are nicely dressed, but my hands are leather so girly men may complain, lol. seriously they aren't sharp or even noticeable. the neck feels fantastic. the guitar is pretty light and i can play for an hour or more before noticing any fatigue. everything was on par, to sum it up.
SOUND: as good as anything i've ever played. i absolutely love the JB / 59 combo and plan on getting a set for my beater (JS22). plenty of sustain, and extremely versatile. clean sound is brilliant and i can spend hours changing pickup selection and knob positions, but for distortion / overdrive it's most appreciated in the full bridge or full neck position. the flat sawed neck is fast, pinch harmonics are a breeze and sound killer. it was set up perfectly out of the box, believe it or not. i HIGHLY reccomend this guitar and it is a great value at this price point.

Comments about Jackson Pro Dinky DK2QM HT Electric Guitar:

I looked for 2 years. Played the strats the sg's the esp 1000 and the sheckter for a grand. Each axe I played for a few days to try. This jackson is outstanding! The pups r a metal head to a blues player dream. Especially classic rock to classic metal. Was just playing some megadeath, u wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and it's not active so it doesn't sound tinny! And playability? Only guitar that can play better in terms of comfort etc is my parker fly.. And that's unfaur cause parker makes the easiest playing guitars of all time. Peace brother and sisters.

Comments about Jackson Pro Dinky DK2QM HT Electric Guitar:

With a JB and a 59 this guitar has more range than its Jackson metal styling lets on. It can clean up like a strat or wail like a demon. I use it for anything that isn't strictly metal, for which I have a Charvel with blackouts. If you're like me and wanted a guitar that could cover a wide range of sounds this is a great choice. And the quilted maple top looks great in person. That being said, the locking tuners on mine aren't unlocking properly, but it doesn't stop me from changing strings (10-48, NYXL)
