The Ovation GC24D-WRY has a flamed maple top that gives this Celebrity its striking visual appeal, and the matched, lightweight bracing enhances the soundboard's power and projection. Ovation's classic Mid-Depth composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone and is comfortable to hold and play.
The Mid Depth body's center soundhole offers a traditional look, and its slim neck has an electric-style profile, 20 hand-finished nickel-silver frets, and low factory-set action. A cutaway insures easy access to the entire fretboard. With its 3-band equalizer and onboard tuner, the instrument's OP-4BT preamp provides players with flexible tone control in any performance setting.
The Mid-Depth bowl blends elements of Ovation's Super-Shallow and Deep Bowl designs. Acoustically, the Mid-Depth bowl delivers impressive projection and rich tone, yet even smaller guitarists find it comfortable to hold and play. It's no surprise Ovation's LX, AX, and TX models all feature a Mid-Depth body: Its proprietary Lyrachord construction and roundback design let it outperform typical "box" guitars. For decades, hardworking musicians have relied on Mid-Depth Ovation guitars to cut through the mix, whether played acoustically in a living room or run through a concert hall sound system.
The popular OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An accurate and easy-to-use onboard chromatic tuner works equally well for standard, open, and altered tunings.

I am a fan of Ovation guitars and so I may be a little biased but this this is way more guitar than what I paid for! I have owned more than one Ovation so I know what to expect but I was surprised to see that a Guitar that was priced this low had so much to offer. Construction quality was flawless, the flame maple top is absolutely beautiful, The neck is very good and it plays almost like an electric it is so smooth and fast. You can pay more for an acoustic electric and not get this kind of quality. If you buy this you will not regret it I would give it 10 stars if I could.
