I bought a new Ovation Legend A/E back in 1979. It was a great and versatile guitar which I used, almost exclusively, in our 3-piece combo. Like a fool I sold that guitar later on. Since I missed it I have just received my new "Glen Campbell" model Ovation, which is virtually the same as my old Legend. Holding and playing this guitar was like finding an old friend again. It plays and frets easily. The guitar "helps" you play your best. I was really making some great music last evening. The fit and finish are perfect. Volume and tone -- combined with my amps adjustments -- result in unlimited tonal variations. You can everything from folk to screaming rock. This is a great guitar. The service was truly lightning fast. I am pleased.
If this guitar plays ANYTHING like the original Glen Campbell I own, it is worth every penny you pay for it. I picked mine up for a "song" while working in Fort Collins Co in 2001. It's a guitarists "dream" guitar. At least it is to me
