considering the price... this guitar definitely gets the most out of your amp, it has a great tone, its lightweight, it is amazingly smooth and easy to play... not to mention that the master volume control is great for on-stage performing, since you can mute it quickly and easily in between songs to get rid of humming or unwanted noises. ivce had mine for just over 8 months now and i couldnt be happier
I just started playing guitar again after giving it up 16 years ago (Thanks to a game of Guitar Hero) and was lost on what to get. I was out of the loop the last thing I owned was a Kramer that I ditched in '92. I read that Peavey was coming out with this line and I remember they made a pretty quality product back in the day. I took a chance on this one since I didn't know if I want to get serious again and I have to say for the money you can't beat it. If you are just starting out and want to play a solid low dough metal guitar well this is it! The neck is fast and action was good right out of the box and their active electronics sound decent through a valve amp. A basic metal guitar for the beginner.
