While I don't play guitar myself, I record a number of very experienced guitarists. I bought this guitar on a whim - I thought I might give it to my grandkids. I let the crew play it in the studio and they all liked it. These guys all own the very expensive Martins and Santa Cruz' and were all impressed with the playability, tone, and resonance of such an inexpensive instrument. Now I just need to explain why the grandkids can't have it :-)

I haven't been playing long, but the overall look and sound of the guitar is great. The reason for my low rating is actually because of the missing accessories: guitar strap, guitar strings, digital tuner. I called to get help with this and rather than sending me the replacements, they tried to charge me for new strings, a new strap, and a new tuner. Luckily they finally offered to send me another pack. When I received it, it was still missing the extra strings, but by that point, I was tired of waiting and having little support. So I just dealt. I recommend buying this, but if you're missing accessories, be prepared for little help.

Comments about Peavey Rock Master Acoustic Pack:

After opening the box and checking tuning with the included tuner, I compared this Peavey acoustic with my '47 Gibson J45. No surprises! The Gibson sound just cannot be beat; but the Peavey sound gave much more than I had paid for.

If you are looking for 'one extra', that will hold its' own at the picnic, on the beach, as gift to a new strummer, or just setting in the corner for an guest sit-in; then this has to be a choice consideration. Great projection, clear tones, and above average resonance.
