This is a lovely guitar, and a great value for all level guitarists. I can't say anything really bad about the guitar yet. The only thing I would warn is that the guitar is extremely light.
I wanted to upgrade from my Epiphone Les Paul. Thinking I wanted the "real deal", I bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio. Unfortunately the first one had a bad neck so I took it back and exchanged it for another. The second had inconsistent fret heights. The I looked at the LP Junior, but the finish seemed rough. Almost walked out of the store and then I saw the PRS Mira X, which looks a lot like the LP Jr. double cut. Once I picked it up, the Mira X blew away the LP Jr. in terms of fit and finish. Once plugged in, I couldn't put it down ... great old school vibe. Nice clean tones, but really comes to life with a little gain. I love the simple, undersated look and it's a great value for a USA made PRS. Couldn't be happier.
Love this - have owned it for a month now. As the previous reviewer mentioned, this guitar is very light. The tone is gorgeous - the instrument literally sings when plugged in. When unplugged, you can still feel the resonance - extremely good wood. The simple style suits me - no fancy touches, just a player's guitar.
