Private Stock McCarty One Piece Curly Maple Top and Brazilian Rosewood Neck Electric Guitar

The Private Stock McCarty Model is the return of PRS’s production McCarty guitar (Paul’s first real attempt at a vintage-style instrument, originally introduced in 1994) to the Private Stock line. Named after Paul’s mentor and a legend in the guitar industry, the Private Stock McCarty Model is the culmination of decades of making McCarty instruments and studying vintage guitars.

With traditional PRS appointments, including a 25” scale length neck, and updated with PRS Phase III locking tuners and PRS “flat jumbo” fretwire (which is lightly ground down to feel like an “old friend”), the Private Stock McCarty embodies vintage tone and classic feel, harkening back to the 1994 model, in a double cutaway package that offers effortless playability.

Other specifications for this instrument include a Private Stock maple top, mahogany back, 22 fret Pattern neck, PRS old-style birds and Private Stock eagle inlays, curly maple bound fretboard, high-gloss nitro finish, volume and push/pull tone controls with 3-way toggle pickup selector as well as a bone nut and a paisley hardshell case.
