An amazing one-of-a-kind Private Stock with Classic styling.
The Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Department has been creating breathtaking instruments since 1996 and the Private Stock SC 245 TM Semi-Hollow electric guitar is another wonderful example of PRS craftsmanship. This beauty has a classic single-cutaway design with a choice curly maple top in an exciting fire red finish, a makore back, and a figured mahogany neck. Makore is a beautifully grained red-brown wood from West Africa with a deep natural luster. The 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is dressed with PRS 513 style birds made of mother-of-pearl, and has a comfortable wide fat neck profile and a short 24.5" scale.
The Private Stock SC 245 TM Semi-Hollow has been loaded with outstanding aesthetic appointments such as a “modern” eagle headstock inlay made of mother-of-pearl, curly maple binding; gold/nickel hardware; curly maple headstock underlay; Brazilian rosewood truss rod cover; classic “F” soundholes; and a lustrous high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
The PRS Private Stock Custom 24 is fitted with a 59/09 humbucking pick-up in the neck position and a 57/08 humbucking pickup in the bridge position that offer a wonderful array of both classic and modern tones. Controls include 2 Volume Controls and 2 Tone Controls with 3-way toggle pickup selector on the upper bout.
Comes fully protected in a Private Reserve hardshell case
