Comments about PRS SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

This guitar was a great disappointment. Doesn't stay in tune, push pull pot pulled right out. Was really expecting better craftsmanship and better sound. The American made PRS is of much better quality. Save your money.

Comments about PRS SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

Bought this just to have something different than what I had been playing ('76 Gibson 335 and Fender Tele Deluxe 72 reissue). Was drawn to this guitar after playing one at a local shop, and really enjoyed the neck profile. The finish is impressive for the price point, and the action when set up to PRS spec is about impossible to beat. I swapped out the 9s for 10s and went through setting it all up again to what the PRS site specs said. It is very important to get the relief close to the .010 inch mark before setting your string height to avoid fret buzz. My only negatives are that mine arrived with a slight defect in the binding from the factory (very minor), and I wish the pickups had a little more life to them. But all in all, for the price range it is an impressive instrument.

Comments about PRS SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

Purchased this PRS from Musiciansfriend about 2 months ago. It was delivered without damage and setup perfectly. Love the wide thin neck profile (plays like "buttaer") and the pickups sound great, too. The coil taps are a nice feature and give the guitar a wide variety of tonal possibilities. I use this primarily for practicing in my home studio and when playing with our worship team at church. Have had great comments about how good it sounds. I've own a number of high-end PRS guitars in the past but this guitar holds it's own against them - a third of the price! I highly recommend this guitar!

Comments about PRS SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

Absolutely amazing guitar. Pickups are very clear but have no problem giving deep sounds for heavy distortion and lower tunings. The neck is very fast, almost as fast as a Gibson SG, with great access to the higher frets, even for players with smaller hands. The tremolo won't throw the guitar out of tune. My only 2 complaints about the guitar is that it had fret buzz when I first got it, but after switching out the 9 gauge strings for 10 gauge, it went away. If you prefer 9 gauge, a slight truss rod adjustment will fix it. The second complaint is that on some of the machine heads, it's difficult to use a string winder because of the shape of the headstock, not that big of a deal though. This guitar equals if not surpasses Gibsons that are twice the price or more, great bang for your buck. Highly recommended.

Comments about PRS SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

Exceptional guitar, my father actually has this same guitar, and though I liked it, I also didn't know if it would work for me. It really shines though, tone wise, very clean, but has a nice "bark" to it, I REALLY dig the pickups and how fat they sound, kinda like a beefy strat-esque sound, but with the gibson bite. It needed a setup pretty bad when it came in, but I just read the PRS setup specs online and it's fine now, sounds great, feels great.
