The PRS SE Angelus Custom model is made with high-quality components, including a solid back and solid spruce top, a bone nut and saddle, and PRS SE designed tuners. This model comes with the PRS pickup system, highlighting the instruments' rich, resonant, and responsive tone. The PRS pickup system is an under-saddle design with three bands of EQ and an anti-feedback loop. The pickup uses one 9-volt battery for power.
The SE Angelus shares the same proprietary bracing pattern and several distinct construction features as PRS's acclaimed Maryland-made acoustic line, as well as the company's trademark bird inlays and headstock design. The PRS SE Angelus Custom includes rosewood sides, a solid rosewood back, and an ebony fretboard bridge.

Have been looking at other higher priced ones, but couldn't pass up the value and sound this model has. I am a recreational guitar enthusiests and it excells at what I had previously.

I have yet to find a PRS Acoustic guitar within my proximity within a store, but I saw the factory videos from the PRS website, and the attention to details that they put into their guitars, I knew would translate into this SE Angeles for about 1/5th the price of the Maryland built Acoustic...wow, am I impressed! Tonality is amazing. electronics perform beautifully...I couldn't be happier with this guitar! The guitar comes with a beautiful hard case as well....(which I had to call to PRS direct to find out if it came with the case or not...make sure before you buy it!)
