OVERVIEW

A bound body and neck with EMG humbuckers and Floyd Rose tremolo.

The SE Torero marries PRS playability with a Floyd Rose bridge, EMG pickups, and neck-through body construction. The minimal/unpronounced heel smoothly blends into the body and the deeper, lower cutaway gives easier and smoother accessibility to the upper frets while the pickups provide power, clarity, and definition. These features all contribute to the Torero's notable sustain, and the bound ebony fretboard with jumbo frets and no inlays paired with a mahogany body and flame-maple veneer give this guitar a very distinct look.

Includes gig bag.

Comments about PRS SE Torero Electric Guitar:

Bought this as my second, sturdy electric guitar after 10+ years of playing a Schecter C1 Classic. Originally I had bought a Gibson SG Futura but returned it after problems with the etuner and other issues, I decided to try out Paul Reed Smith after another guitarist recommended them to me.
I have to say I am very happy I made the decision to switch over to the PRS SE Torero! This guitar is awesome and feels like way more bang for the buck than Gibson! This is an absolutely great guitar for any style of music including classic rock and heavy metal. The ebony fretboard feels great and has a great action to it.

The EMG pickups sound great, comparable to the quality Seymour Duncan's on my Schecter. The bridge will give you a good, even clean sound while the neck pickup is great for leads, hard rock, and everything else. Everything else on the guitar is great. Great sound, great electronics, and also seems to have less feedback when playing through Guitar Rig 4 on the PC, telling me they did a good job with magnetically shielding this guitar.
I also have to compliment the light weight of the guitar. It is sturdy but it doesn't way alot. I have a herniated disc and it's hard to stand with a heavy guitar. So far this guitar isn't too hard on me to play.

The FR tremolo is also awesome as expected. Great guitar for for all your dive-bombing needs! This is my first guitar with the FR. Stays in tune great. For newcomers, be aware that FR's are a bit complicated to tune compared to a regular guitar. I already knew that going in but am posting this so others are aware if they never purchased a guitar with it before. Watch a YouTube video on how to tune and change strings on this, it's different than your standard guitar.

Overall this is a really great guitar. One thing I can say; it looks, feels, and plays like a 1k+ guitar, unlike the Gibson did. I also compliment PRS for including a gig bag. I am very happy with this guitar and plan on keeping it for a lifetime.
