OVERVIEW

An affordable OM model with upper fret access and Fishman pickup

The Recording King Classic Series OOO Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a 14-fret OM body with a treble side cutaway and Fishman pickup, making it a perfect stage-ready acoustic guitar. Crafted by the same artisans that build their best-selling 12-fret guitars, but with low-key ornamentation, the ROM-06 was built for players looking for an affordable OM model with upper fret access and a pickup.

The ROM-06 has the clarity perfect for performance, as the small body has a dreadnought scale length of 25.4 giving it the volume and punch players want in front of a crowd. Beginning with a solid Sitka spruce top with hand-scalloped bracing and mahogany back and sides, the ROM-06 feels extremely comfortable under the hands due to its size and narrow 1-11/16 nut width. The Fishman 4-band pickup has both a tuner and a phase control to make adjusting your live sound a snap, and the LED tuner is easy to see under stage lights, or in the dark.

The unadorned Recording King headstock and tortoise body binding give this guitar the perfect touch of class for either a concert or a beach party. The ROM-06 not only delivers the rich, warm sound and roadworthy quality that Recording King guitars have become known for, but its unique combination of features make it the perfect on-stage companion for players of all levels. Case sold separately.

Comments about Recording King Classic Series OOO Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I got one of these after getting the 000 "Dirty thirties" guitar & being so impressed with it. This guitar is just what it says: perfect for any setting. I have played it on numerous gigs & it delivered flawlessly. I have ran it through an amp & also straight into the mixing board. No issues on either gig. Holds tune well, is very comfortable to hold & play; nice rich sound, & looks good. It is a satin finish (my preference) & the tortise shell binding is a neat little addition. If you are looking for a nice acoustic electric, but you don't want to break the bank, then look no further. I am very impressed with Recording King instruments. I will not hesitate to buy or recommend them.
