OVERVIEW

Korina body, bolt-on maple neck and dual humbuckers.

A real workhorse guitar that combines humbucker power with the clarity of a 25.5" scale. Big, clear, rock tones, warm, round cleans, and even some percussive twang with girth.

Custom pickups
Reverend design their own proprietary custom pickups, to achieve the best tonal match with their instruments. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching.

Dual-action truss rod
This dual-action truss rod adjusts in both directions, allowing back bow or forward bow. This assures correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, extreme climate conditions, or the effects of long term aging. It's also located at the headstock for easy access.

Korina body
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-lightweight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing our lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

Graphite nut
Reverend use a graphite impregnated nut on all Reverend instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.

Bass contour
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips.

Pin-lock tuners
A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes.

Comments about Reverend Charger HB Electric Guitar:

I bought this thing about 3 months ago, because I was looking at Gibson LP Studio's and was actually talked out of it by a friend. I came across reverend just from seeing a video of a band I like (Defeater) using one. Started doing some research. There is not a ton of information on them, but they have some what of a cult following, that I would now consider myself in.

So I pulled the trigger and ordered one. It came perfectly set up out of the box. I literally opened it, tuned it and used it on stage that night with no issues. Its been my go to ever since. I love the bolt on neck feel/twang with the humbucker drive. Its a perfect mix between a LP and a tele, which, as it turns out is what I was going for.

The locking tuners are clutch. The bass contour is great, although I leave mine pinned. Dependable. Its definitely a work hoarse. Finish is beautiful. The only con is that I wish the neck were a bit thicker. But the slimmer design does make it easy to play.
