Comments about Rogue RD80PK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack:

Purchased as starter guitar for a child. Does not stay in tune long enough to play a single chord. Multiple tries by 2 experienced players using a piano. Will be arranging a return.

Comments about Rogue RD80PK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack:

It is customary for the strings on any new guitar to stretch a little. Mine stays in tune perfectly. This guitar has a full rich sound of guitars costing much more. The action is good and it won't hurt your fingers. I own several Rogue guitars both acoustic and electric and I'm very pleased with all of them. Any time a guitar won't stay in tune there's got to be a logical explanation. It's usually very simple to correct.
For the beginner who is undecided if they are going to take guitar seriously, I strongly recommend the Rogue RD80PK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack. It's everything you need to get started without breaking the bank.

Comments about Rogue RD80PK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack:

I was looking for a knock around guitar for introductory students to use. This guitar has a nice, rich, Martin-esque sound that projects well, very nice appearance and appears to be well made, especially for the money. I've been playing guitar for 35 years and to my ear this guitar sounded as good or better than the other guitars I looked at that were 2 to 3 times the price. The guitar had no fret buzz but the action was a little high from the factory so the first thing I did was adjust the neck truss rod and this helped a great deal. I plan on lowering the saddle a little the first time I change the strings but the guitar is now comfortable to play (after the neck adjustment) without any fret buzz. This guitar may wind up getting more use by me as a guitar to just leave on a stand in my office to just grab and noodle with for 5 or 10 minutes than by my students. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Comments about Rogue RD80PK Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack:

For the price this guitar is amazing. The Action is very nice compared to a more expensive solid top guitar I owned. The action is very nice. Yes there is a bit of tenderness for not having callouses yet. but compared to another starter guitar this is nice. The strap is big enough for me 6 ft 2x size. with a few inches to go of adjustment. The pitch pipe is a bit hard getting used to so i will use an electronic tuner. The action on this Rogue guitar is as nice as a squire fender electric i had. I am very impressed.I thought it came with out a strap but it was in the guitar bag pocket , so look there.
