    Rogue

A very affordable guitar with great looks, expanded tonality, and playability

The Rogue Rocketeer RR200 combines the features of Rogue RR100 guitar with a basswood body for excellent tone and sustain. It is based on a classic design and was built for ease of playability. A sunburst finish and pearloid pickguard offer custom-good looks. The ultrathin, comfortable bolt-on maple neck makes it easy to riff up and down the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ease. The humbucker/dual single-coil pickup configuration with a 5-way switch puts an incredible array of tones at your fingertips and the addition of a coil-splitting via a push/pull pot offers up even more tonal options. A 6-screw vintage tremolo lets you have tons of whammy bar fun, while the Rogue Rocketeer's die-cast tuners make sure you are in tune every time. Guitar case sold separately.

Also, ignore the "least helpful" reviews - most of them have never even touched this guitar.
The coil splitter on the bridge pickup is a great feature yielding sounds from Strat to Humbucker.
Put together like a tank - very reliable for a low cost guitar.
THE BEST guitar you can get for the cost. Try a couple other guitars MF offers under $150 and make your choice.

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

Seeing as this is my first guitar, i don't have much to compare it with, but i love this guitar. The action is perfect fot me, there is no buzzing on any of the frets. This guitar is definetly not a fixer upper. i read many reviews before purchasing this guitar, lots of people complained about a bunch of stuff, well i haven't had any problems with mine yet.(knock on wood). i already owned a Rogue bass, so i knew i could trust the company, but this actually is way better than what i expected.

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

I bought this to have an inexpensive guitar to take on trips or to practice with or play when I didn't want to get out my better gear. When I bought it, it was approximately $72 on sale so I thought I would try it.

The first one had some issues but I could tell it had potential, so they sent me a replacement and the 2nd one was fine.

The 2nd one had great action. I didn't have to tweak anything.

The pick ups aren't the greatest, but for what I wanted it for, they are fine.

I don't think I would have paid more for this guitar, but for what I got it for, it was fine.

One other thing, the input jack was not on the front, it was on the edge.

Still Like it and got another one...

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

As the title says, I now have both colors of this fine Rouge Rocketeer and dig them both!
Adjust truss rod, file frets, adjust intonation (all guitarists should learn how to do these basics - from youtube, it's easy) and you will be ejoying this guitar greatly.
Get one, work with it, and it will work for you!
Splittable humbucker is "vary" nice for tonality variety (yes, I meant to mispell very).
      Feels solid.
      Do your own value comparisons.

      Good for the price

      By Jeffrey Alwine

      from South Carolina

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

      Great guitar for the price.
Good feel, same or better tuners, frets, etc. as more expensive guitars. Great starter guitar.
Needed more tweeking than any guitar I ever had. Luckily there's lots of info on the net on how to adjust necks, etc. Just about every string buzzed onevery fret. Either use it as a learning tool as I did to learn how to set up a guitar or planto take it somewhere to get it done professionally. Also frets have sharp edges that need to be filed.
For 100 bucks you can't beat it.

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

I like the verying sounds you get with the differant pickups and would recomend this to anyone who can't afford a name brand guitar.
I found the Rouge Rocketeer to be a complete surprise.
I took it out of the box tuned it up and it played very well.
Will have to work on the edge of the frets as they are sharp.
I'm not saying it won't need some tweeking but a very good guitar for the price.

      Rogue 200 Rocketeer

Comments about Rogue Rocketeer Deluxe Electric guitar:

I rate this low end guitar an 8 because the price to quality ratio is unbelievably good. Great value for the money. Although this guitar is inexpensive, it is not a guitar you would be ashamed to own.
This guitar was just delievered today. I bought it as second/practice guitar. I have owned a Rogue bass for several years and still play it from time to time. The Rogue bass was a good value so I felt comfortable ordering this guitar. I got the gray burst model which has some different features that the standard strat knock-offs. First, the output jack in on the side rather than the front of the guitar. It has one tone control verses the standard 2. It has a bridge coil spliting feature that I think is kind of cool. The body is standard strat thinkness (not thinner like Squire's bullet model). The body looks to be solid wood as opposesed to being laminated wood. The neck wood is maple of good quility. The pearloid pick guard agienst the gray burst body looks much better than picture on MF web site shows. This guitar produces a good strat sound.
The guitar is made in China and came with no printed documentation. The quality is far above what you would expect from a guitar in this price range. The set-up was ok, although the intonation is not perfect.
This is a good value, I feel I got more than my money's worth.
