Played drums for over 40 years. Learned guitar about 10 years ago. Have had or played various makes.  Took a chance on Rogue.  At $49.95 wasn't expecting too much. Was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.  Needed to be set up and new strings, but a real nice instrument for beginner or intermediate player.  Would highly recommend!

Paid sixty incl. ship for a luthier project (disassemble, tweak, experiment) because it cost less than the sum of it's parts. Can't believe they can even make them at this price.  About 1/2 the weight of my Standard Fender Strat (SFS), needed restringing & accessories were throw-aways but otherwise excellent playable condition. Played through Marshall 80W and LOVE the tones. The neck is actually more comf. than SFS and more playable (easier to reach lower frets). Reminds me of a Jackson Soloist. To would be guitarists considering this guit, don't listen to the snobs. It's not name brand but you CAN make outstanding music on this with the right amp. Unbeatable value.

I bought this about a month ago - I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of the bridge humbucker. The quality of the neck was above par and playability was very good (not excellent), the frets are on the skinny side & need a little polishing, but for a few Frog skins (dollars) this is a great guitar for someone just getting into guitar. I would mention that the single coils sound level is mismatched to the humbucker. They don't sound bad, just really low output compared to the humbucker, which is ok for me because I play neck single coil in clear acoustic sounds and humbucker for rock/metal sounds. Decent Guitar...
