The guitar is great. Buzzes some places on the neck which is letdown but overall is an awesome sounding guitar. "Poor man's Les Paul" is you ask me. For the money it's a great value and is worth it!
Crazy guitar,if your looking for quality tones, fast and easy access fretboard. At this price you cant go wrong, ive been buying guitars in the 2-300 dollar price range (on a tight budget) and read all the reviews for this guitar and decided on it.I am totally satisfied nothing has gone wrong with it at all and i cant put it down! If your looking to buy a great guitar, Schecter makes affordable and quality instruments at a low price. If you dont have one,get one.
This Guitar has a wonderful sound. If you like to play any type of music this guitar can do it. The hardware on this guitar is top of the line. Not simply "Duncan Designed" Humbuckers, but real Duncan Humbuckers. The Neck is Thin and smooth for faster and harder playing. It is light so you can play long sets with little fatigue. For the price this guitar is perfect. Anything anyone could ever want.
It plays very well, sounds awsome and I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to buy a solid body guitar that lasts. This is the only guitar that has lasted me more than 3 months (maybe 4)...just kidding. It's worth the money!
I came off of playing a starter guitar regularly (Ibanez) and this guitar is just simply a joy to play. It's incredibly fun and sounds great. The Blackjack accommodates the sound I'm trying to go for - primarily rock. Other people have said that this guitar also plays well with many other music genres and I'm starting to see just what they mean after only playing this guitar for a few days.As far as appearance goes, this is hands-down, one of the best looking guitars I've seen. I'm extremely picky when it comes to the appearance of a guitar and this guitar looks great in person. It feels great too. I was referred to this brand about a month ago and I'm so grateful to have been introduced to Schecter. Check it out...you'll be glad you did.
I've been playing guitar for 2 years. When I decided to buy a new guitar a few months ago, I wanted to make sure I did it right. I went to a local store and sat down and played nearly every guitar in the store, including guitars priced at $1000+. I instantly fell in love with the sexy look, comfortable feel, and excellent sound of the Schecter Blackjack Diamond Series. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I highly recommend all guitarists to try this guitar out. I am confident that you will feel the same as I do.
This guitar is the best I have ever played. When I first played it in the store, it blew me away. The neck is really fast and the cutaway lets me get all the way to the high frets without any trouble. The Duncan humbuckers produce this awesome metal sound that I haven't gotten with any other guitar. And for this price, there is absolutely no better.
I was playing on and off for years with a foreign strat, and started looking for something with more punch. I play mostly 80's metal, so I looked at Jackson, Ibanez, Gibson, then I guy at the store said he was playing this Schecter on break and loved it. I gave it a try, what the heck right? I am so glad I did, cause this is the perfect guitar for me. The sound is incredible and it has re-energized my passion for playing. If you have an unlimited budget I don't know if this guitar is for you. But for under a grand, this is the best guitar I could find....period.
For an amazing guitar, this cheap, how can you go wrong? It is surprisingly versatile, you can play any genre with it. Before i bought this guitar, i played dozens of other guitars at my local guitar shops. I went from Gibsons to Fenders, and I kept coming back to this Schecter. Buy this guitar.
Im a lefty and awhile back I ordered an ltd viper400. After waiting four months I changed my order to this fabulous guitar youre looking at right now. I'm so happy that viper didn't come in.Granted, I haven't played too many guitars but this thing is incredible. the seymour duncan jb/59 combo sounds incredible(especially with the 5-way switching options). It's a very light guitar, I was actually surprised when I first picked it up.I am seriously considering buying another one for different tuning, either that or a c-1 blackjack. If you have the money, which is nothing for a guitar of this quality, you should buy it.
