A retro-modern axe with custom touches and smooth playability.
The Corsair Bigsby is Schecter's take on the classic semi-hollowbody electric guitar and a neo-vintage six-string that rules for rock. Its three-piece mahogany neck is shaped to deliver comfortable, effortless play with an ebony fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The semi-hollow maple body is topped with flamed maple and fixed with two Duncan Designed humbuckers (with coil-splitting) that whisper and wail with plenty of firepower. The Bigsby B-70 vibrato gives you extra expression while rock-solid Gotoh tuners keep you in tune.

A beauty if you ask me. It's simple design makes it a conservative piece of workmanship. Attention to details a plus. I purchased the black one. It's gloss finish is just amazing. Sounds are great. You can play all types of music with this dream guitar. The only beef I have is a slight fret buzz that can be annoying. I have to get that fixed, but overall, it beautiful and a great piece of equipment.

neck is so narrow that larger fingers will contact 2 strings often also very thin and fun to play for me

This is a great guitar. The neck is very comfortable. It's thin yet wide. Due to the solid block of wood in the middle this is not the lightest guitar but I like the weight and the overall feel of it. It sounds great and looks amazing. I have the walnut finish and have received compliments on the looks. Other great features are the coil splitting pickups and bigsby tremelo. Overall this guitar is a great alternative to a more expensive Gibson 335 and is a solid guitar for the money.

The first thing I usually do when I get a guitar is set it up. This is one of the few guitars I ever got that I didn't have to tweek it to get it right, it came very well set up, I'm very pleased with it.
Its an outstanding guitar, for the price or any price.
Everything on this guitar is high quality and solid. I can't really find anything that I would change out, all the hardware is good stuff.

This is just a magnificent guitar. I am thinking about selling the rest of my guitars because of it. I can get any sound that I would ever want out of this thing. I have played the ES335 before and I truly believe this guitar stands up to it. Plus, it's gorgeous (I have the walnut). If you want an absolutely stellar semi-hollow but don't want to spend a couple thousand on it, I can't emphasize how much I recommend this.

An amazing guitar right out of the box! easy to play and sounds even better! shortly after getting mine I replaced the pickups with a Gibson Burstbucker pro in the bridge and a Seymore Duncan Phat cat P-90 in the neck. Down right incredible at this point, one of the best guitars I have ever played

First off, i don't like most schecters. I think they sound funny. This on the other hand isn't a schecter at all. It's a beautiful guitar to hold and play. the neck is wide and fun to play on. It sound AWESOME through my Blackstar HT-5(custom cabinet). She gives plenty of lows and highs. good sound from the duncan pick ups. I gave the features a 4.5 because the bigsby is a total pain when restringing it. other wise, it's very versitile and beatiful. I have the Walnut finish, and these pics DONT do it justice. it is far more beautiful than shown in the other pictures.

I recently purchased a Schecter Corsair Bigsby. When I first took it out of the box I was blown away. What a beautiful instrument, the workmanship is flawless. I got the gloss walnut finish, love the look of this guitar. The 18/1 Grovers are great, and the Duncan pickups really give you a wide range of tones, mellow enough for Blues or Jazz and can punch out face melting solos. Playing Blues is my first love, but also play some country and rock. Over the last 30+ yrs. I've bought 3 Martins, an original Gibson Fretless Wonder and 3 Strats and recently a Schecter Dameon Series which I was impressed with. Every thing about this guitar smacks of quality, the hardware, the tone, and craftsmanship

As BB King would have put it, ?I?ve been downhearted baby, ever since. . .? well, since I sold my Les Paul thirty years ago. That is until I bought my Schecter Corsair Bixby this winter. The workmanship is flawless, from the smooth way the frets fit the neck to the way it stays in tune to the complete lack of crackle and hum. My favorite feature is the thin neck; I?ve played several Fenders and Gibsons and own a Martin, and I much prefer the way this neck invites me to play for hours without fatigue. Tinkering with the push/pull knobs and toggling between pickups gives me warm jazz and blues to sweet Southern roots rock. Don?t buy it if you?re needed for anything else because you will be addicted. Well worth lots more money.

I recently purchased a bunch of equipment and recieved a great deal on this guitar as a 'throw-in' to the package I was buying. I cannot state enough: The guitars craftsmanship is tight and much attention is paid to detail. I purchased 4 guitars, amongst other equipment, and I have not been able to put this guitar down. I am astounded at the clear sounds I can get out of the guitar - whether in clean mode or overdriven. I can play anything from Stanley jordan and Chet atkins right up to Seether and most any heavy metal drop tuned rythyms out there.mids are not muddy at all..they shine right thru the mix, be it on DAW or Live. this axe is awesome. Im blown away.Deep rich, full and robust , kudos to Schecter.
