This is a great guitar. I was originally thinking about getting the kirk hammet 402 but when I seen this in a local music shop I had to have it. The EMG pickups are awesome and give out great sound. I bought this instead of the kirk hammet 402 mostly because this has the licensed floyd rose and the kirk hammet signature didn't. With the floyd rose, sometimes I don't have to tune it for up to a month at a time. The flamed top finish looks great. The only reason I gave the features a 4.5 is because the flamed top smudges easily but that doesn't really matter. overall this is a great guitar and a great buy.
This guitar is cool looking, but not as good as the C1- FR. My friend has one, and the pickups are terrible and buzz so much that on his 75 watt amp if you are over half volume you can't hear a thing. Also, his never seems to stay tuned, which is wierd because usally the liscened Floyd Rose's are great, but maybe he just treats his guitar badly. This guitar may look cool, but the C-1 series is much better than the Damien series.
I got this guitar about 4 months ago and it's a beast! Mahogany body(crazy sustain for a bolt-on)The neck is very fast...you just have to get used to it.(the only neck that beats this one in speed is the Wizard II from Ibanez guitars)The pick-ups are OK. But I upgraded mine to SD Blackouts. After propper set-up, the floyd rose was amazing. It stays in tune for weeks, even with the wildest of dimesqueals or Divebombs. Overall a very good guitar! I recommend it!
