This is a great guitar for metal and hard rock. Lower the action a bit, use some Ernie Ball Slinky top Heavy Bottems and let this beast come to life!
I own this guitar and i think it is by far the best guitar i have ever played. The sound is amazing and the only thing i think is annyoing is when u have to change the battiers in the back so make sure u buy strong battiers for it. But other than that very very nice.
Ive had this guitar for almost a year now, Its easily been my favorite guitar to date. When I got it, right away I switched the bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan Blackout. This was because the 89 sounds like ****. Ive never like EMG's bidge pickups because there is too much gain and crcunch. Itll give you a saturated NuMetal-y tone, But I wanted a tone that had more tonality, and a non-scooped feel.Anyway, the Neck Pickup Is great, I love it. I have nothing bad to say about it.be aware, It IS NOT through body, Its a schecter stlye setneck. ei - it feels like a through neck, but still sounds like a set neck. The neck profile is perfect, Its comfortable and it gives you something to really grab.Tuners do what theyre meant to do. and they do it well.Features get a 3.5 becuase I had to switch the bridge pickup and Its not a through neck.Quality is a 4 becuase Im a tough critic, and It just doesnt feel Like a Godly instrument. Dont get me wrong, I love it.
This guitar is the beauty and the beast! If you never played metal before, you'll soon want to start once you pick this baby up. Pinch harmonics scream loud and full!
