Shred fast on this beautiful Hellraiser.

The Hellraiser Deluxe electric guitar, Schecter's newest addition to the Hellraiser family, is just as infernally elegant as its siblings. The mahogany body is capped with figured maple, finished in crimson burst, and bound in black. The 3-piece mahogany neck plays super fast and smooth with a rosewood fretboard and 24 jumbo frets for effortless bending.
Like the rest of the Hellraiser clan, the Deluxe guitar has a pair of high-output EMG active humbuckers, an EMG-81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck, for searing leads and tight sledgehammer riffs. The Schecter guitar features mother-of-pearl crescent inlays that run the length of the fretboard, coming together in a unique 12th fret pattern that you just have to see to appreciate. Finally, the Tune-o-matic-style bridge and thru-body stringing ensure singing sustain.

Good guitar that is simple to set up and play without a bunch of useless items. Can handle being beaten like a red haired step child and it still wails. Only downside, it arrived damaged but i was able to fix it.

New guitar type at much less than competitors site. My teenage daughter purchased it for her boyfriend, with her own cash. He was thrilled beyond words with the gift & the quality/look of this Schecter bass guitar.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe Electric Guitar:

This is a great guitar. I got it used for around 360 bucks. It doesnt look a lot like it does in the picture, its actually a deeper red. The hardware is a "black" iodized chrome and it goes well with the red body. It has a white double stripe binding around the body and headstock. The EMG pickups are great for just about any type of aggressive music and tuning. Mine is currently in Drop B sharp. The neck is very smooth and it feels great. Although its a bolt on, Schecter made a great job of making access to the upper frets easy. Its a very great to play guitar. The fretboard is either rosewood or ebony(early models were ebony, and i dont know when my guitar was made, however I suspect its rosewood) The pickups have a long battery life, i JUST now had to change my battery and i got the guitar on christmas day. Overall for an adept guitar player, this is a great guitar. For those used to D shaped, thin necks, this is a hard guitar to get used to. But its the best neck i've ever played. Schecter has made me a customer for a long, long long time.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe Electric Guitar:

This is a fantastic guitar with one amazing price tag. Honestly, after giving it a quick test run, I fully expected it to be no less than $1,000.

The finish is absolutely gorgeous and the guitar simply feels great. The neck is slim and very fast. It is also pure wood with a very light semi-gloss that your hand won't even notice. One of my biggest complaints with Gibson is they typically use heavy-gloss on the backs of their necks, causing your speed to decrease as your hand sweats. This isn't the case here. The neck remains smooth and fast. Plus, there's just something sexy about the look and feel of a pure wood neck with little to no gloss.

The strings are strung through the guitar's body which produces quite a bit of resonance. So much in fact that you can easily feel the guitar vibrating against your stomach as you play. This helps produce a very rich sound that is boosted by the EMG pickups. The EMGs far surpassed my expectations. They are extremely articulate with distortion and provide a very nice, woody warmth to your clean tone.

The only fault I can find is that it's slightly heavier than a Les Paul, and several pounds heavier than a Fender Strat. With that said, if you are used to playing Les Paul's you'll barely notice the difference. But, if you're used to playing Fender's then the difference will be substantial.

After several months of owning the Schecter, it has become my favorite guitar, beating out my two Gibson Les Paul's and my Fender Strat. Everything about it has made me rethink what makes a great electric guitar. I can easily give this instrument my highest recommendation, so get it now before Schecter wises up and jacks up the price!

This is the most amazing guitar in this price range i have ever seen. Was looking for a guitar with EMG's for a specific use this is now the main go to guitar for me. there is no buzz anywhere on the fretboard it looks amazing and the colors actually blend together much more naturally.(unlike the picture) all in all from my experience with this item so far i can't find anything i would complain about.

I bought this guitar in 2010, and it was a great deal at that time. As soon as I got it I changed the strings on it, and I was ready to go. I've played with several bands since, and this guitar easily sounds better than alot of more expensive guitars. I really can't find a flaw in it. It feels could, looks good, and the best guitar you will find for this price. Anyone that had issues with this guitar, I really can't understand. It's just a great guitar, and beautiful aswell. I love the fret art and the finish.

            Blew my mind

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe Electric Guitar:

Wow, Just wow. I spent about a month looking for a guitar thats worth the price and also within my budget. Ive tried Les Pauls, Other Schecters, Dean, and so much more. i went to guitar center like 5 times to try all these guitars. But overall, This guitar blew my mind. The pickups are so versatile. These EMG's can make a clean, warm sound. But also a heavy crunchy sound. Perfect for playin at my church and just jammin hardcore. The craftsmanship on this guitar is amazing. I couldnt find a single defect. Unlike my previous ibanez with a paint messup. These tuners will hold .09 gauge strings and it wont go out of tune for hours of jamming. Although i have switched to .10 and still holds perfectly fine. Action is REALLY low. Lower then i thought was possible without fret buzz. No buzz no matter how hard i pick. Neck feels like it was made for me. Not to thin or thick. Easy access throughout the neck. This guitars paint shows quality! already dropped a few times from the stand hit it against a few tables, banged against other guitars, No chipping whatsoever. Few small scratches but you have to try hard to find the scratch. Had this guitar for a little over a half year. I still love it the same the day i got it. No regrets. Guitar is just a plain beauty. By the way, Im 14. But i hope that doesent change the fact that i just love this guitar. I also checked up with my pastor who makes guitars. he loves it too.

            My first Schecter

            By Jah Weed

            from San Diego, CA

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I just traded in my Epiphone Sheraton 2 for this and I m quite impressed. I've been playing for 17 years now and have been through my share of axes, this one is better than most of the others I ve played, especially for the price. Even when it played through my little portable Fender Bullet 15 it still kills. I agree with everyone that it looks much better in person, the picture makes it look too red and plastic-like, when in fact it has much more black running through the body with the red being a few shades darker, all topped with a beautiful shine. The biggest default is running new strings through it; definitely have to be careful with the paint. Also, I don t get too much of a clean sound when using middle switch pickup setting, but I think that due to the 2 separate pickups signals competing against each other, this can be fixed. Overall though, this thing screams, growls, and even sings like bird. I thought I wouldn t be able to get good cleans out of it, like my Sheraton 2, but I am dumbfounded, this guitar does it all. I would recommend it to anyone.
Pretty good, other than missing screw on high E tuner. Not sure how she will hold up on the road, Ive heard good things so far though.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe Electric Guitar:

The guitar is great but, I ran into one problem and this happened almost a month after I had it. I was changing my strings and the nut became unglued and started to move around. I wouldn't have minded this as much but, I have a cheaper guitar ($150) and I used heavier gauged strings (.13 compared to the .12) than the ones I used on this guitar. Great guitar, sounds nice, just needs a bit more glue on the nut or have a little bit more room for the bigger strings.
