OVERVIEW

Part Hellraiser, part SLS, Floyd Rose installed.

A unique fusion of Schecter's HELLRAISER and SLS models, the C-1 Hybrid is a combination of the most sought-after features of each. The Hellraiser's signature highly figured quilted Maple top is now redesigned with a more sculptured arch and is set into the Mahogany body with an increased upper access cutaway. This model features a Floyd Rose locking tremolo system.

The C-1 features EMG's 57/66 Active humbuckers with Brushed Black metal-works covers and a high gloss transparent black burst finish.

The SLS shares the HH's popular thin, fast neck profile and satin finish. The compound radius ebony fingerboard is adorned with an inverted dot pattern that switches to the treble side at the 15th fret. The Metal Cross, synonymous with the Hellraiser, sits proudly at the 12th fret. A newly designed ˜Carbon fiber' binding and glow-in-the-dark side dots (great for low light live situations) enhance the 2014 Hellraiser Hybrid's metal appearance.

Case sold separately.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose:

I'm a former pro. When I first got this I thought it was more suited to rhythm. I have medium hands, and I had to get used to the very narrow and slim neck. It's not a true con, you just need to adapt if you haven't been playing something like it. Now that I have played it a while, it keeps amazing me. I'm playing it through a used roland, and it sounds incredible. It looks thin, but it's heavy and sturdy. The whammy seems to need to break in a little more. The pickups are amazing also, they are the first actives I have used that have fairly decent clean tone. Though this axe is fairly versatile, this is a metal guitar. I got it for metal, and I highly recommend it for metal. The shoe fits... It looks great too!!!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose:

I picked up one these guitars with my 2015 tax return, mines a bit different than the one in the picture but its the same basic instrument. Long story short, this thing is incredible. The pickups are awesome, they sound heavy and crunchy as hell, but you can still strum a chord and hear every note. The neck is awesome, its fast and sleek and plays like a dream, and you can reach all 24 frets with astounding ease. The finish is absolutely hypnotizing, and the body is about as heavy and solid as a brick wall, in conjunction with the pickups this guitar's sustain is unbelievable. If you are the lead guitar player in a metal band then I cant really think of a better instrument for you.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose:

For years I departed and turned my nose up at the tin sounding, toneless bass wood hessian finger dancers of the 80's and 90's. I switched to Gibson and PRS because of the tone and feel to play. I despised I wanted something with a little more speed to have amongst my quiver. I can tell you that this guitar blew me away. It's super fast and has excellent tone. It has an integrated neck and is much heavier than similar guitars which speaks to its sustain and warm sound. I highly recommend picking one up if you want something with a little more speed than your Les Paul but does not give up the base sound character.
