The Schecter Hellraiser Special C-1 FR electric guitar has the looks, playability and tone that will please any metal player. The Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge will keep you dive-bombing with your Schecter Hellraiser Special all night long. Hellraising features include a carved figure maple top, double-cutaway mahogany body, and a 3-piece mahogany neck. A Schecter Ultra-Access neck heel lets you get all the way up the 24-fret rosewood fretboard. Active EMG-81 (bridge) and 85 (neck) pickups deliver the roaring tones needed for today's metal mayhem. Pearloid dagger inlays, multi-ply binding, and black chrome hardware round out the Hellraiser Special's dark, sinister look.
Floyd Rose Special Tremolo
The Floyd Rose Special is the Authentic version of a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system manufactured in Korea exclusively for Floyd Rose. The Floyd Rose Special maintains the construction parameters and features of an Original Floyd Rose, while utilizing zinc alloy saddles in place of steel and a zinc alloy sustain block in place of brass.

I watched all the you tube video demo's of this guitar so, I had great anticipation. It arrived with two of the strings broken at the FR bridge and would not stay in tune. The tone was horrible. I don't know if it was just this guitar but was deeply disappointed.

I have played thrash and death METAL \m/ for 20 years now and have owned many different types of guitars. The Schecter C 1 Hellraiser diamond series is a BEAST. I have never ordered a guitar online due to not knowing the instrument I was buying without playing it. I was apprehensive but the gamble more than paid off. The jumbo frets are spacious and the neck is kinda wide and very fast. Exactly what I was looking for. I thought I would take a chance and I'm glad I did. I wish I had this guitar when I was learning how to play in the long long ago. I can already tell my speed has increased. I have owned the guitar for a few days now. It's an awesome instrument!!! Take the chance as I did. You won't regret it!!!

I was looking for a guitar that I will be satisfied with to be like a "primary guitar." So I tried this one out. When I got it tuned to where I liked and got the bridge adjusted right I strummed that first chord and I got goosebumps. Perfect tone for metal. I was using the whammy bar like crazy. When I checked to see how much it was out of tune, it was still in perfect tune even after excessive whammy use, that was 4 days after tuning it. Looks beautiful, plays like butter, sounds incredible, stays in tune. What else could you want? I found my dream guitar. BUY THIS
Has a Floyd Rose bridge which is always nice. When I got mine, I tried to tune it to standard but couldnt because the fine tuning screws got tight all the way before it could reach standard. So I had to unlock the headstock and re-tune and adjust the bridge spring, which isnt a big deal because youd have to do that in the future anyway. Neck is extremly smoothe and even better that it's a set neck and you can shred with ease. Sweet inlays. Only feature it is really missing is a coil tap, but you buy the guitar knowing there isnt one.
The quality of this guitar is amazing, the finish is perfect. The wood is sturdy. I cant walk by it on the stand without eyeing it as I walk by.
The value is great. Worth every dollar.

Local shop didn't have one of these in stock, so I had to order it on blind faith. I won't be doing that again!! The finish on this looks nice from a distance etc, but there are bubbles that you can see and feel in the clear coat. The EMG's are ok, I actually like the passive pickups a little better," but I thought that it would be good for the more serious stuff. But they are nothing special! The battery compartment is too big for a normal 9V which kind of sucks!!! I actually like my ESP LTD ""EC model"" better than this Hellraiser!!! Oh well...

This is a great guitar especially being made in Korea!!!!!! Even though it's a floyd rose special, it stays in tune pretty well. I use it for blues, rock, and some metal, and these emgs are amazing! Neck is smooth binding all the way around good bends easy vibrato on jumbo frets:}And they sent it already set up, cant beat it for the price range.

This guitar has proved itself in every way. It stays in tune thru vigorus use of the tremelo, the pickups are amazing clean and distorted, and both finishes are beautiful. I recommend this guitar to anyone searching for a next-level instrument.
