alright so a buddy of mine got this for christmas '08. and after he kept talkin about it i wanted to see it. when he said schecter i was really excited to play it. but when he said hellraiser i was kinda sketchy cuz i knew hellraisers had EMG's. and almost every guitar ive used that had EMG's sounded horrible to me. so i tuned this baby into drop D. holy crap it was the most amazing thing ive ever heard. it was so crunchy and and amazing. cut to clean it its beautiful. im currently tryin to convince him to let me record a song w/ it cuz it sounds amazing on it. im currently in the process of gettin a C-1 FR. but i think me and him might trade of on certian songs. but if ur thinkin about gettin this, get it. it is worth it.
I bought this guitar a year or two ago and it looks more and more amazing every day. The sustain on this thing lasts forever and the push/pull pots for the pickups give you so many options. if you pull them both up and play straight into the amp clean it sounds almost like an acoustic guitar but push them in and switch to the bridge running some distortion and it will scream, it has amazing highs and lows no mater what settings you have it on.
