Built on the ever-popular dreadnought platform, the body depth and width create an ideal sound chamber, allowing a projection of balanced tone to cut through any mix, while sounding incredibly good.

The dovetail neck joint creates an ideal binding of two pieces of wood”in this case the neck and body”to create a singular piece of wood that eliminates movement, and produces tight, crystal clarity from note to note. The solid spruce top offers balanced tone and projection, to support the guitar's melodic voice around other instruments, while mixing well in the process. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides further complement these qualities, and add a warm, dark beauty to the overall package. The rosewood fingerboard produces clear, defined tone from song to song. The Graphtech TUSQ nut brings out richness and sustain, without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone and other natural materials. Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain) throughout each piece, hampering consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top. TUSQ nuts are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body.

At the heart of this guitar is an impressive electronics system, letting you amplify your guitar sound quickly and beautifully. The Fishman Prefix Plus-T features ultra-quiet electronics and volume, bass, treble, and semi-parametric contour controls. In addition to a built-in chromatic tuner, the Prefix Plus-T adds a brilliance control and a phase switch and notch filter to help fight feedback.
