An affordable entry into the 7-string world with dual humbuckers and TOM bridge.

The SGR C-7 Electric Guitar has the design and features of 7-string Schecter guitars costing much more. The double-cutaway body is made of basswood with beveled edges for playing comfort. Its bolt-on maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium frets and an intricate Gothic Cross inlay at the 12th fret. SRG humbucking pickups and a Schecter tune-o-matic bridge offer the tones and sustain that make this guitar an exceptional value. Comes with a Schecter gigbag.

    Schecter tuners
These high quality tuners feature a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime of maintenance free playability. Details include a 15:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning, removable knobs, threaded hex peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.

    Rosewood fingerboard
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

SGR pickups by Schecter Diamond Plus
Over wound coils with a Ceramic Magnet give this aggressive high output pickup the push that will send your Amp over the edge. Made for crunchy rhythms and blistering leads. Perfect for drop tunings. This pickup will cut through the mix with ease.

    Maple neck
Maple has a uniform grain, it’s strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a mahogany body

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research SGR C-7 7-String Electric Guitar:

This guitar is big bang for the money. I bought two, I should have bought more. I had owned a 2005 model Schecter with the 25.5 scale. I like the 26.5 scale. The same things I liked in my 2005 model, I like in this model. The same quality is still there.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research SGR C-7 7-String Electric Guitar:

I thought I'd try a seven string for a change so when I saw this one, I thoght, "What the heck." the first one I got lasted a week before a sizeable chunk of black finish came off the headstock after using a snark clip-on tunner. I sent it back and recieved a new one which has been fine. It' really fun to play and looks fantastic. The only problem i have is that the pickups a bad. they are VERY hot. It holds its tune very well. I like how they put real Schecter tunners on it. It might not be the best guitar, but at the price it can't be beat.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research SGR C-7 7-String Electric Guitar:

Had to re adjust the neck, it came warped as hell. Frets buzzed, dead notes flat tones, action was terrible. Re adjusted the neck so that there was no buzz or dead notes, but its still warped after adjusting all that i can to cure it. Having a neck custom built because the electronics and everything else about the guitar is fine, maybe I was just one in a million who got the bad one. Happens. But overall, I'm pretty PO'd.
