The SGR Solo-6 is a fantastic guitar for the money. The upper frets are easily reached and the action is nice and smooth right out of the box. It comes with a gig bag and cable. All in all this guitar is top notch as a starter or just an addition to your collection. The only thing I can say really disappoints me are the pickups. Definitely swapping them out soon.

I've had a lot of guitars. Fenders, Epiphones and Schecters mostly. I've had to sell them for cash during lean times. Looking for a new guitar, I wanted something inexpensive but not unplayably cheap. This guitar fits the bill. Craftsmanship is solid, it stays in tune and it looks pretty sweet. It's light and easy to play. The action on mine is super low. Good guitar to use until I can afford one better.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research SGR Solo-6 Electric Guitar:

After getting horrible tone out of the box, and with a horrible fret buzz coming from it, I took it in to get looked at. Setup was completely off, and there was a warp in the neck causing the first fret to be low and the 2nd fret high. Should have sent it back and gotten a refund. Instead I got the work done and it's now passable, but far from a great sounding guitar. Wouldn't recommend this for anybody.

I really like this guitar. For the price I bought it for, I was a sceptic, but once I pulled it out of the box, and even more when I plugged it in it suits me just fine. All I really had to do (which is what I do to all my guitars) was change the strings which I guess were 9s to my favorite 10s. I might put an EMG at the bridge also, but not now I am enjoying this for now.

Ive always been a huge fan of schecter. When I found this guitar for the price, I wouldve been a fool to pass it up. Probably the best purchase ive made in a while. It sounds like a $500 guitar at least. The only problem I have is the pick ups. Theyre good, but not great. Swapping the bridge for a Dimarzio then it'll be perfect.

I wanted a guitar that was different and for some strange notion I purchased this one. It is awesome to play and sounds great. I run it through a VHT amp and a Danelectro Metal pedal and get excellent jamming that makes my dogs drool and make me feel cool.

I bought this for because I had some cash burning a hole in my Bermuda shorts. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this guitar plays and sounds for the money. It's not a high-end Schecter but it's perfect for an everyday guitar. I highly recommend this guitar for starters or anybody just wanting a different guitar to jam or practice with.

I just wanted to write a quick review. This guitar for this price is unbelievable and I wont say you couldn't find a better deal anywhere else because I don't know that for sure but I do know one thing this guitar is great! It is simple, sleek, and beautiful. It has a nice sound to it but hey switch out pickups do what you have to do, make it your own. I am very pleased with this product. I don't know how Schecter did it but I am glad they did.

For the money you cant beat it. Its a great guitar wether your learning or have played for years.
The schecter sgr solo-6 is a very nice guitar and ive played alot of different guitars. The neck is very nice and so is the feel of the body. The neck pickup has a very nice low to it, and the bridge has a god crunch to it. Action is pretty good, but 6th string needs a little adjusting. Great guitar for hardrock/metal.
Great for the money. Its as nice as $500 guitars ive played. worth every penny.
