Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Synyster SYN Custom Limited Electric Guitar:

I played this guitar at a local guitar shop. This guitar was purely smooth and the tone was a bit crushing with the right amp setup. For all the Floyd Rose nay sayers I have a Jackson Phil Demmel Signature Bloodline series and I have never had a problem. When buying any guitar with a Floyd it needs to be setup up and intonation for the gauge of strings you are using. It's a must if you have never had a floyd and don't know the first thing about doing a setup trust me I know I made that mistake. This is going to be my next guitar versus a Gibson.

Great guitar really! However the floyd rose does go out much more often then I would like. The frets are big and the nick is thin great for any shredding with great tone and clarity... Also This guitar is not in the "Afterlife" video it is in the "Beast and The Harlot"

just like to say that all floating tremolos are amazing if you know what you are doing. half the people that trash on them really do not know how to use them. the first guitar i ever bought was a tune o matic. 2nd one was a floyd. as of now i own 8 with double locking tremolos. thay are the greatest thing invented and are perfect on this guitar.

Ok. First of all , i wish someone would say that this guitar comes with .10's on it so it saves you the trouble of restringing it.This is an awesome guitar all around , action is great , the floyd is amazing (except if your a noob like me , it can get on your nerves) It does NOT go out of tune easily even when divebombing the -youknow- out of it. The floyd set up is a little complicated but I am getting used to it so yeah. Mine came with a dent on the back (hardly noticeable) probably from shipping.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Synyster SYN Custom Limited Electric Guitar:

I actually own the white/gold model but it's the same guitar just different color so I thought I'd just give me take on. This is simply just an amazing instrument. Possibly one of the most versitle guitars I've ever played. Gorgeous killer looks and the action is perfect. It plays as nice as it looks. The locking tuner system seems to keep it in tune very well I've had mine for several months now and have had no issue with it staying in tune. The push button switches from single coil to double giving an almost unlimited amount of tones. You sort of have a Gibson and Fender in one guitar. I've played everything from Hendrix style blues to heavy Avenged style licks. Can't say enough good about this one, if your in the market for a great guitar definatly check this out!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Synyster SYN Custom Limited Electric Guitar:

okay, the floyd rose is SUPPOSED to be out of tune like that. thats caused by the stretching of the strings. but, synyster gates, likes his guitars to sound that way. precisely why he likes the floyyd rose hardware.

i dont own the guitar but i will SOON. Ive played the original synyster custom and if its anything the same then this guitar has everything you want. The pickups are so freakin brutal they have the best sustain plus they hit the pinch harmonic G-spot xDD. This guitar is MEANT to be solo'd upon. If you shred then you should pick up this guitar because this guitar is awesome!

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Synyster SYN Custom Limited Electric Guitar:

pretty expensive but not too bad of a guitar i guess. it looks amazing, and sounds good with distortion. some problems i had with it ;one of the locking nuts didnt fit right so i had to replace it with a new one from a nearby store. It also goes a little out of tune after using the floyd rose too. i had to get the bridge adjusted to stop it from going out of tune too much

          The TRUTH about the Floyd

          By hunterstreet13

          from Louisiana

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Synyster SYN Custom Limited Electric Guitar:

I would just like to say that everyone that says the Floyd goes out of tune is wrong. I have no clue how anyone could not get it to stay in tune. You have to do something seriously wrong for that to happen. Tremolos require special setups with your strings. Get a professional to show you how to set it up. The guitar is great, I own it and it is amazing.
