A retro-looking, fixed-bridge guitar with active Seymour Duncan pickups.
The Schecter ULTRA B-17 BOMBSHELL Electric Guitar pays tribute to our boys in the Air Force with the vivid colors of their flying machines. The body is made of mahogany and has a set neck with rosewood fingerboard and 22X jumbo frets. Special inlay adorns the fingerboard featuring stars and bars and a 'USAAF' at the 12th fret. Powerful Seymour Duncan Active Blackout AHB-1 Pickups provide plenty of horsepower and are easily controlled by a master volume and tone and a 3-way switch. Schecter precision tuners and a TonePros System Bridge keep things perfectly intonated throughout your performance.
Schecter Tuners
These high quality tuners feature a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime of maintenance free playability. Details include a 15:1 gear ratio for smooth and precise tuning, removable knobs, threaded hex peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.
Rosewood Fingerboard
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.
Seymour Duncan Active Blackouts AHB-1 Pickups
9-volt active humbucker for aggressive playing styles. Recommended for old school metal, garage, punk, thrash, drop tunings, and other heavy rock styles. Capturing the tone that players want in an active design using balanced inputs. The result is 12dB to 14dB less noise, plus more lows, more highs, and more output.
3-pc Mahogany Neck
Made with 3 pieces of mahogany for extra stability. 3 piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the 3 piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.
