I want to get this guitar, first off, not because I want to be an A7X junkie (although I do love the band); I want to get this guitar because I fell in love with the looks. Seriously. I could care less if this wasn't Zacky's guitar. It's a frickn' gorgeous mirror finish. Of course, the cracked mirror was different than the pictures because, obviously, the process would be extremely difficult and repetetive, but they did it well, it was cracked in an appealing sort of way. And of course, Seymour Duncan JBs? A Tunepros bridge? GROVER TUNERS? Coil splitting? Effing value, I tell you. It has perfect, smooth, molten overdrive tone, searing highs, great low end, like Zacky's sound, with sparkling cleans, and the coil splitting makes for some unique experimenting. It's extermely versatile, too. It can handle any sort of music you throw at it, from Eric Clapton to Avenged Sevenfold This is an amazing guitar worthy of the Schecter name, and Zacky was right to choose to use this axe. Simply AMAZING. I couldn't put it down for half an hour, before the employee told me that I had to stop.
For this price? You bet it is! I've owned this guitar since it went on sale so about a year now. I love it. It's sound it really raw so great for punk alt rock, but if you wanna crank out shred solos? this may not be for you. It's a custom built for rhythm guitar and it does "rhythm" really well. Great me me since I'm a vocalist/guitarist. I love it. I love the band! Great guitar and people freak out when you use it live. Just don't blind them. I've done that a few times.
