Unique compound-curve solid cedar top for unprecedented tone!
The solid cedar top arches slightly above the soundhole and slopes to level at the bridge to create a more stable top. This allows the use of ultra-thin scalloped bracing to deliver the most response and tone possible. Constructed with hand-selected wood for the top, solid mahogany back, and mahogany/maple/mahogany sides for the ultimate in stability, warmth, and round, full timbre. Scintillating appointments include gold tuners, bound body and headstock, mother-of-pearl seagull inlay at the 12th fret and on the head, plus elaborate rosette.

I must have checked and played over 70 guitars looking for that special guitar. Gibsons, Taylors, Martins, Fenders, Guild, Epy's you name it. The high end guitars are all awsome but as I was playing them this guy asked me if I've tried a Seagull. Well I did and except for the price, this guitar is their equal. The price is 1/2 of the ones I was considering. I also asked their support people for some info and they answered asap.
I heard a lot of great things about this instrument, so why not give it a try? It turns out this guitar is amazing! It sounded great out of the box. This is a well constructed instrument. The sound, feel, action, and playability were all top of the line. Thanks,
One plays Martin and Taylor guitars and thinks to theirself that they're the best acoustic sounding guitars around. But when playing a Seagull, you find yourself thinking why haven't I played one of these before. Seagulls are hand made in Canada with top of the line woods that produce beautiful tone. The reason they are so inexpensive and unknown is because they don't advertise their products. The action, in my opinion, surpasses martin or taylor guitars, and the wood quality as at par. I have owned the Seagull Artist for a year and a half and I am thrilled every time I play it. No regrets. I would buy another one if it was stolen, and it is worth every penny. Next time you go to your local guitar shop ask to play one, you'll be blown out of your mind.
