Squier Affinity Strat HSS features a scorching humbucking bridge pickup, sparkling single-coil neck and middle pickups on a classic three-ply black/white/black pickguard, rock-solid bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, skirted black control knobs and a sharp new gold-and-black Squier headstock logo. Fender’s acclaimed 15-watt G-DEC Junior amp features 16 amp types, 15 effects presets, 15 drum/bass/accompaniment loops (with patterns in rock, blues, jazz, metal, country, Latin, hip-hop and other styles), 8” Special Design speaker, metronome, key selector and adjustable tempo controls, separate volume controls for guitar and backing loops, built-in E-tuner, easy MIDI computer connectivity, auxiliary input and headphone jack.

I started guitar lessons a couple months ago with an accoustic and thought it would be fun to mix it up with an electric. I decided to buy this value kit. As a beginner, I can't compare this to another guitar but it feels good to play with. I am a female with short fingers so learning on a guitar is already challenging but I am having fun doing it! Also I bought this starter pack for the amp because I didn't want to bother with pedals for now but the amp is solid, perfect for my townhome and fun to play with. Heavy distortion is my fave :) Everything came in my pack so no dissapointment there.
