This was the best deal on a Fender Squier Tele guitar that I have ever seen.

It was so good that I not only bought the 2 tone sunburst model.

I also bought the "Orange Metallic" model with the cool Metallic pickguard that comes on that color model.

    Not as good as reviews

Although the price seems right, the quality isn't there. The neck was very uncomfortable and the frets were brutal on the underside of the neck.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I'm an out-of-the-womb drummer, but have dabbled with piano and guitar since I was about 8 years old. I play strictly for fun (and to appease the inner demons that often get angry with me when I haven't rocked the music out of my—sorry, *our* body. So trying out this Squier tele was, for me, a low-risk risk. I was very impressed out of the box. But ever since I took her to my local-ish music store and had them get the nut adjusted and intonation set, et cetera, I have been blown away. Great value, and great guitar for those in my position, and who don't want to spend an extra 300% to have the word "Fender" in a larger font on the headstock.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I have been looking for a good donor guitar to do a Floyd Rose conversion onto a Tele body. This was the perfect donor for me. I had to flat mount the bridge due to the body's thin profile. The neck is fast and smooth. The pick-ups are standard Squire. I spent a couple hundred to hot rod this thing and have a guitar that I wouldn't be afraid to take onto a stage. If you aren't a brand junkie, this is a great axe for the money.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I bought this to mod (which I still intend to do) but when i first plugged it in to test it out I was shocked. It plays well and sound very good. The body is thinner than a normal tele which make its lighter but it still sings! The finish is drop dead gorgeous as well (I bought the metallic orange). The biggest complaints I have are: the humbucker is quite bright (but I'm replacing the pups anyway) and I hate the black hardware (but thats just preference). To good of a price to pass up. Anyone should buy one of these just to have around.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

This is my second Bullet HS telecaster in this series. I got the metallic black and was so impressed I got the two-tone sunburst as well. The build quality is excellent, everything solid. Setup was spot-on right out of the box. It would also seem some of the quality issues have been addressed. The first one had terrible fret dressing on the edges and I had to have a shop file down the rough edges, but the latest one came with the neck frets done right. It has the sound and build quality of more expensive telecasters and I plan on enjoying this axe for quite some time to come!

I Bought this a few months ago just for taking to jam sessions. This guitar played so good & continues to stay in tune very well, so I use it for everything. The first and only thing I did was to change out the pickups. The bridge pup is very thin & tinny, the neck is very weak. I put in a Bill Lawrence humbucker in the bridge and a high octane generic tele pup in the neck. This thing is smokin' now.

Bought the metallic orange a few weeks ago. Love this guitar. Neck relief was pretty much spot on. Lowered the saddles a little and now this thing plays sweet. Inexpensive is no longer "cheap." Keep an eye out and buy one if you get the chance.

Too bad this one is unavailable. What a great value guitar for a beginner. Was surprised at the quality of the build and hardware used. The electronics aren't the best but it's a guitar that can easily be upgraded over time. The orange finish was really nice.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

Bought this because I wanted to pick up playing again after several years absense. I've never owned an expensive guitar.. so I can't really give much comparison, but I do like this guitar a lot!

It sounds and feels great... the neck/fretboard is solid and straight. The intonation was set well and needed no adjustment out of the box. I've never owned a Tele style guitar, or otherwise one with the input on the bottom.. and I like that a lot.

The only cons in my particular case were that it had a 1/4in scuff, and had about a half dozen pin hole sized pits.. both of which were in the black painted areas and not too noticable. Also, if you can't tell by the pics... the body consists of 3 peices pressed together, on my guitar there were two spots that had two small chips on these center edges... and they are in the natural part of the finish so pretty noticable.

Overall I'm still very satified and would recommend this guitar to anyone. In my case even though there were a few flaws in the finish it's pretty easy to give it a pass considering the price. Seriously this is the cheapest guitar I've ever owned and probably the best.. the other two being a Peavy Raptor and a Affinity Strat.

I really don't like the saying of 'beginner guitar'.. this guitar would be great for anyone.

Comments about Squier Bullet HS Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I had bought a telecaster in the past and wanted another one in "My" color which is sunburst. I found this little squire not only on sale but then Columbus day sale even more money off original price. I read all reviews and realized I would probably have to set this guitar up when it came in. Musicians friend shipped it right out and came in a few days later. Finish was flawless, Neck was perfectly straight already. Tuned it up with factory strings and it sounded wonderful. Intonation was just slightly off. It only took 15 minutes to set this guitar up and now intonation is as good as one of my $2500 Gibsons. I was thrilled and wonder why anyone would pay hundreds more for an American made Fender Tele. What I really enjoyed was the ease on my old hands in fretting... My Gibsons are starting to cramp my arthritic hands and This neck is slightly different than my Fender Strats as well... Don't know what the difference is but I just know it really feels good... Great, Great guitar for a beginner if you know who to adjust bridge screws... It's not hard, just look up adjustments on Youtube and you can set yours up to your exact chord pressure style... My students have really enjoyed playing this guitar..
