I installed two EMG's in this guitar and gave me the cruch hardcore guitar i was looking for. I recomend buying this guitar
Pros:1. Body is flawless - red sparkle paint is suprisingly nice.2. Neck is straight and has a really nice satin finish. Not fret buzz at all out of the box.3. Fretboard is amazingly nice for a guit at this price point.4. Everything works - switch, pickups, controls, etc.5. Guitar has a fairly loud resonance unplugged - a good sign.6. Came very nicely packed, including truss rod and bridge height-adjustment wrench.Cons:1. Fret ends need to be filed - they're not unplayable, but they would bug an intermediate/advanced player.2. Nut string slots are cut too high - low chords are out of tune. No biggie if you have the tools.3. Intonation was slightly off, also no big deal.4. Strings must go right away.5. Tuners must go - they are pressed metal type, similar to the Epi Jrs. A replacement set of good ones run about $30.All in all an amazingly nice guitar for $99 delivered. Perfect for a first guitar or the modder in the family.
