This is a very good looking and playing guitar once several adjustments are made. I have the arctic white one. After taking it out of the box and tuning it, I found that the intonation was way off after playing a couple chords. After adjusting the length of the strings at the bridge and filing some of the string slots on the nut a little deeper, I have it playing fairly well. I still am a tad sharp on the 3rd and 5th fret on the E and A string depending on how hard I press the strings against the frets, but all chords sound in tune. I changed the pickguard to a Fender tortise shell. The pickups, switch, and pots fit perfectly. I did have a couple holes not perfectly lined up and only had to drill the hole at the bottom next the the second tone knob. The tortise shell looks good against the white/slight creamy color. I will be putting some vintage 6 on a plate tuners from guitarfetish when they come in as the stock tuners have a lot of play in them. They can hold a tune for a little while depending on how hard you strum or bend and pick. The stock pickups actually sound pretty good. I will know more once I get the amp I want. I am just playing through a basic 1x12 solid state 2 channel amp right now and am eager to play this through a class A tube amp. Overall, this is a good guitar to have around the house for jamming.

I bought one of these a few years ago and thought it was pretty good for the cost. Wanted another with a humbucker so I ordered this one. I thought it would not be as good because I got lucky with the last one. I was wrong! This thing is great! You get what your pay for but it sounds good, neck is good, very, very light guitar. Fun guitar, love it.

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

This guitar is well worth the price for what it is. It is a beautiful sunburst and the finish is flawless. I had no problums with the tuners on my squier and played real nice right out of the box. It sounds really good and the frets are not too bad. I thought i might have to do some ajusting when i started playing it, but i did not have to do anything. I guess i was lucky on that part of it. I own a lot of different guitars and i thought i would like to have one of these, so i went ahead and got one and do not regret it at all. Very nice guitar and i am glad i bought one. Way to go squier by fender.

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

This was the very first electric I have purchased after playing an acoustic for 3 years. I wanted something to play around with just get some new sounds. I was not disappointed. I picked it up straight from the box, tuned it, and played out some nice tunes. Whenever you first get the guitar, the strings will come untuned quickly, once you break them in they stay tuned for a while. I'd say for the money you are paying, this is a great deal!

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Sound is good. No weak spot or buzz issues. Single ply pickguard is not straight but 70's strato has the same issue so I use it to stick sparer picks. The weight varies from one lot to the other.

After initial inspection of stock condition I disassembled for modification.

Some of screw thread are almost stripped so I repaired.

Tuners are cheap and turning resistance is inconsistent but stay in tune very well. If you want to upgrade tuners, note the diameter of the neck holes. Squire has smaller diameter holes than Fender's.

Body was well made and finish is nice and clean. Some bridge screws were weak. Neck is straight. Good holding balance.

As always the fret edge was rough. I file them down to my likings. This is the only major minus for this guitar.

It is fun to customize this Strato. Most Fender parts work well. Upgrading is fun.

This is an awesome guitar. I popped it out of the box, tuned up and plugged in. After a little adjusting with tone and sound, I recorded a lead guitar track a couple of days later. Keep in mind that I give this five stars factoring in the price. Don't expect top of the line, but this guitar sounds good and you just can't go wrong with Fender/ Squier.

Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

I got this guitar a while ago; it was the first electric I ever got. I have always loved Strats and ever since I started playing guitar I had always wanted at least one guitar with a whammy (tremolo) bar. The guitar stays in pretty good tune even after using the tremolo a bit, which is a very important feature in my opinion. The pickups are ceramic, so are obviously not as good as alnico ones, but you have to keep in mind that this is a beginner guitar, and you should not have high expectations as far as the hardware goes. If you are a experienced guitarist like me, then you know there are much better guitars than this, so I would mainly suggest this to beginners, or a cheap guitar for practicing and jamming. This is still one of my favorite guitars that I have ever gotten, right after my Epiphone Vintage G-400 SG. However, comparing the two is like apples to oranges, the G-400 is not a beginner guitar (far from it, in fact I would greatly suggest it to more experienced players) and the Squier Strat is a beginner guitar. Overall, this guitar is the best one you will find for the money. I highly recommend it to beginners.

It's a great guitar for what I needed. I was just getting it for basic jamming and "different" sounding guitar for recording. The only real "con" is that a couple of the tuning machines are a real pain to turn. I feel like they may break. The only other downside is it didn't come with the tremelo bar. It was a condition "3" used instrument, but has no wear that I could find.
