The latest addition to the Sterling By Music Man Artist' Signature Series is in that echelon of iconic players who are known simply by one name¦Luke is no exception. By popular demand worldwide, Sterling By Music Man is honored to introduce the first of a Steve Lukather Signature Series guitars: The LK100D

From its "push-push" active boost on the Volume control, passive tone control, 5-way balanced switching, classic "V" contoured neck with 12" radius, and its Sterling By Music Man Vintage Tremolo set to Luke's personal specifications for full step and a half bends, LK100D is a "players player" guitar.

Comments about Sterling by Music Man LK100D Electric Guitar:

I was not prepared for how great this guitar sounds, and how smoothly it plays. Fit and finish are dead perfect, and the DiMarzio Transition pickups have to be heard to be believed. The five-way switch wiring combines the coils of the two humbuckers in ways that allow you to go from their untapped sweet, warm PAF crunch to Strat chunk and chirp to Gretsch (!) chime and Tele twang. I have never heard humbuckers that can cover this amount of tone territory so well.

The active boost is by far the best I've ever played. It really is a clean boost, with just the slightest bit of drive, unlike the "Clapton" circuit which drastically changes the sound. The two-point floating trem is a joy, and gives the heel of you hand space to explore overtones and more.

This guitar simply wants to be played!

Comments about Sterling by Music Man LK100D Electric Guitar:

Super excited that Sterling came out with this. The only issue was that the guitar was shipped with a buzzing noise, just needed a minor adjustment. Since it was new, I decided to call Customer service and they sent me a replacement without hesitation or a bunch of questions. As for the guitar, it feels, plays and sounds incredible. I spent over an hour in GC playing the EBMM, and I have to say this guitar is everything that one is without the hefty price tag. For buying online, Musicians friend was the easiest and best service I ever delt with. Processing and shipping was fast and all the gearheads and reps have knowledge in what they are selling.. I will be making all my future music gear purchases through them from now on.
