OVERVIEW

A remarkable value with an HSS pickup configuration and tremolo bridge.

The Silo3 is a versatile workhorse that's easy to play, comfortable, and sounds like a higher-end guitar. The solid hardwood body is attached to the solid maple neck via a Music Man designed 5-bolt neck joint. The neck heel is contoured and rounded over for easy & comfortable access to the higher frets.

The double cutaway, contoured, hardwood body is fully sculpted and shaped for comfort. All sharp edges have been eliminated and you have just the bare essentials you need for a comfortable, solid body shape that never feels awkward.

The asymmetrical cut maple neck is slimmer on the treble side and thicker on the bass side, for effortless movement as you move around the neck. Thick enough for great tone, thin enough for easy playability. The medium-sized fretwire is easy to fret and offers great intonation up & down the neck.

The pickguard is loaded with two high-output single coils and 1 overwound humbucker which have clear bell like tone, but can also shred and emote all the nuances of your playing. A 5-way selector switch is wired to a single volume & tone control.

The vintage-style tremolo bridge has a comfortable area to rest your palm on. The solid saddles offer adjustments for height and intonation.

Case sold separately.

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Silo3 Electric Guitar:

fantastic for the price, but, after a full set-up,and replacing the pickups with a dimarzio 56th anniv.PAF..and an area 58 middle/area 61 neck.the guitar is 'off the wall"small/compact/great neck shape..using for rehearsals and gigs..check out the silo30D..its already got the dimarzios'in it!!but you can upgrade the silo 3 for less..it rivals the american musicman silouette easily..and i play an 87 PRS custom 24!!the silo3 will be my back-up axe for sure!!pick one up!!you'll see!!

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Silo3 Electric Guitar:

Perfect price point, extremely well made guitar. What a gem. I am more than pleased. I am putting a humbucker alnico Seymour Duncan in the bridge, Duncan surfer single coil in the middle, and lace sensor blue in the neck. This guitar is going to be sik.

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Silo3 Electric Guitar:

I've always been a fan of Music Man (owed an USA model in the past) Figured for the money I'd give this one a shot and I'm not disappointed. Obviously you're not getting the quality of a USA made Music Man but you are getting a very good quality built and fine look guitar. I most likely will update the pick-ups but that's not a knock on these, I just know what sound I want.

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Silo3 Electric Guitar:

Mine arrived with a chip on the side of the rosewood neck near the nut. The back of the neck was not sanded down and polished well because I felt rough spots. The front and back of the body had a huge knot in it. Now, I know that is a natural property of the wood but it looked ugly. Unlike the one in the online photo. It says it was inspected in CA. I sent mine back for an exchange. I'll let you know what the 2nd one is like.

Comments about Sterling by Music Man Silo3 Electric Guitar:

This is an excellent guitar especially for the money. The day after I bought it I gigged with it at a local blues jam. It did great. Its lightweight and looks awesome. Eventually I am going to switch out the pickups even though the stock ones aren't bad, just noisy single coils and I would like a little fatter sounding bridge pickup. If you are a beginner or even a seasoned player(I've been playing for 8 years), this is an out of this world deal as a backup guitar or even a main go to guitar.
