Takamine's Kenny Chesney Signature model is your one-way ticket to a little piece of paradise. Designed by Kenny, this guitar captures the island spirit perfectly. Good times are just a couple of chords away. The Kenny Chesney Signature model features an OM body with a satin-finish solid cedar top, solid mahogany back and sides. The rosette is adorned with Kenny's original "Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love" icon inlays; they are also inlaid into the 12th fret of the fingerboard. Kenny's signature is laser-etched into the rosewood fretboard, and Kenny personally signs each label inside the guitar. To top it all off, a palm tree is inlaid into the top of the headstock. The KC70 is powered by the great Takamine CT-4B preamp with 3-band EQ and a full-function integrated chromatic tuner.

Yes the rosette is different than the norm, but it is beautiful. The graphics are set in a few millimeters into the wood and the look is phenomenal. The guitar has a Satin finish and the craftsmanship is perfect. Takamine really out does themselves in the quality department. Ok looks are fine, what about the sound. The KC70 has a sweet sound, its an OM body style with solid Cedar front and Mahogany back. A very musical sound coupled with low action makes it easy and enjoyable to play.

I own a 1995 N45 Santa Fe edition and love this Guitar. It looks like Takamine has brought back this Guitar with electronics and it should be one great sounding Guitar but just a little to over priced for a hobbyist player like me. I might be willing to trade if the price was right but it would have to be a deal I couldn't refuse the get that N45 out of my hands. I love that old Guitar and the new one should be even better.

I have had this guitar for six months , giging out with a two man acoustic show . i agree the guitar is price is high , but my friend it is worth it. the tone is warm and the volume is brite. as far as looks go parrotheads and chesney fans flip when they cast their eyes on this beauty . i do wish it had a pick guard , i've scratched it up pretty good .

I have owned this guitar for just under a year. It sounded great right out of the box. The body is extremely smooth no imperfections. The inlays around the sound hole are a very nice touch. It also comes with a high quality case. The price was more then I had wanted to pay, but after receiving the guitar I can see why.
