OVERVIEW

A shining introduction to Taylor with a solid spruce top and Indian rosewood laminate back and sides.

From Taylor guitars comes a dreadnought acoustic guitar you'll take a shine to. The 210 Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar features a beautiful gloss finish on the top and a satin finish on the back and sides, for a beautiful look, to go along with a beautiful sound. Built on the popular dreadnought design, the depth of the Taylor 210G's body and broad shoulders create an ideal sound chamber, pumping balanced and full-bodied tone out with plenty of projection to cut through any mix. Whether strumming away on the rhythm, or flatpicking some barn-burning solos, this Taylor guitar sounds great in any mix and will stand up to whatever the music throws at it. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, a top-quality wood, known for its balanced tone and clarity. The Indian rosewood back and sides, also premiere wood, produces rich, booming sound, with the perfect element of projection. The Taylor 210 guitar's 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, and 15" radius adds comfort for intricate movements up and down the ebony fretboard.

The NT neck joint fits into a specially cut pocket in the body of this Taylor acoustic guitar. The frets are supported equally by the neck, creating a more stable playing surface, one that is continually straight, from the bottom to the top of the neck. The guitar's mahogany neck is strong and provides added presence and clarity in the tone, and the ebony bridge and fretboard bring out lasting sustain.

Includes gig bag.

Taylor tuners keep the 210 guitar in precise tuning and chrome hardware add an extra sleek look to this already stunning offering from Taylor.

Comments about Taylor 210 Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar from Musician's Friend who listed as used and "small ding" on top hence the Gently used description. I think they sent me an new one because i couldnt see any signs of use or damage at all. Because of the gently used tag I was able to buy up to the 210 level from the 110 I had planned due to my skill level. I am taking group lessons and the other students have Yamaha 700 something, Washburn and an Ibanez. My peers actually stopped playing a few times to comment on how good my guitar sounded and the instructor agreed and seemed annoyed a student had "such a nice guitar". Hearing all the guitars in a group setting really set apart the tone of this guitar from the others. I don't think I'll ever really need to buy up with this guitar and the neck is great and easy to play compared to the others. It has really made me a better player as well since I practice so much more and play more often because its such a pleasure to use. Highly recommend both the guitar and Musician's Friend.

This guitar is a great deal. It's a lower end Taylor but sounds almost as good as the higher end ones. I definitely recommend this guitar.

Comments about Taylor 210 Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar stands out in playability and fun. It is not super loud, but can hang in there. Good tone. It sounds fantastic on playbacks. This makes for reliable and satisfying recording sessions. I keep going back to it over my vintage and new Martins. I actually traded for this guitar; traded in a higher # Taylor, but have not regretted the decision.

This is one of the nicest acoustics I've ever played. The action is like a buttery old stratocaster. So fun to play, and sounds beautiful.

Comments about Taylor 210 Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

MF had this guitar as a Level 1 rig and I wanted a good basic dreadnaught; a previous Taylor purchase was better than expected and so is this 210. [My long-term goal is an example from each of the Taylor series.]

Slapped a set of Elixirs on it when it came [Thanks, MF, for a great experience from order to delivery. I WILL be back!] and have been a very happy player. Great setup, good mids and highs. Build quality is at the expected Taylor level.

The neck is a bit narrow for my tastes down low but that is a personal preference and the ONLY nit I can pick.

I found the solid basic dreadnaught in this 210. Thanks Taylor and MF!
