Taylor

An affordable dreadnought with a solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and Taylor ES-T electronics.

The Taylor 2012 210e Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides bringing the quality sound and feel you expect from a Taylor. With Taylor’s new ES-T under-saddle transducer, this affordably-priced, solid-top Dreadnought can be plugged-in to add a new dimension to your Taylor tone.

Indian Rosewood Laminate/Solid Sitka
The beauty of Indian rosewood is captured in the 200 Series. Laminate backs and sides are paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, producing a full, rich tone with ample volume, resonance, and sustain.

Dreadnought (DN)
The Taylor Dreadnought is a focused guitar with plenty of presence, recently redesigned to be even more assertive. It’s the traditional choice for the traditional player; the model to drive with a heavy pick.

Taylor ES-T
Devloped by the same Taylor team that invented the Expression System pickup, the Taylor ES-T Under-Saddle Transducer takes piezo technology to another level. Optimized for the 100 and 200 Series, the system features onboard Bass, Treble, and Volume controls plus custom-voiced EQ and dynamic response.

Gloss Top/Satin Back & Sides
The finish used to create this guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Includes gig bag.

Comments about Taylor 210e Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

One of the brightest tones you can find. I really was amazed, I walked in that day with every intention of walking out with a new Gibson hummingbird and instead I found this. You can't find a better deal, the price and the value makes this guitar a steal. You will not regret this purchase!

Great Guitar. Hands Down!

By jeff weselinski

Comments about Taylor 210e Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Overall, this is a strummers paradise guitar. It sounds great plugged in and unplugged. The gig bag alone is worth the price! I recommend this to guitarist not looking to spend a fortune on a great guitar.
Absolutely love the pickup on this guitar along with the 3 band equalization. The tone is outstanding. Seems like the harder you strum it, the brighter it sounds. I have plugged in a regular solid state Peavey Sidekick 30 watt amp with a Boss Pitch Shifter and a Boss Chorus pedal. After tweaking the knobs on the amp and the pedal, I have gotten a beautiful 12 string sound on a solid state junky amp! It would probably sound better on an acoustic amp but wow,the sound is amazing! This guitar is definitely built for the strummer in mind.
It comes with a gig bag. But it is a solid gig bag with cushion inside. Not your typical bag. What I love about it is the front pocket where you can put your picks and capo and music folder. It has plenty of room. It is a plus because I play in a folk group every Sunday at my church. I can store everything in this bag. The guitar is just a thing of beauty. The one I bought came right out of the box. I can still smell the wood as a strum it. The sound quality is very bright and resonate. It has more a brighter treble sound more than bass. Which is ok by me.
So far, I have had this guitar for a month and I am very pleased. As the guitar ages I am sure it will sound even better. I have tried 2000.00 dollar Gibsons and Martins. Most of their models do not come close to the tone on this one.

Amazing sound!!

By Tom M

Comments about Taylor 210e Rosewood/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was looking at Yamaha's L Series guitars (LL16) and ended up playing a few different ones during my visit to Guitar Center today. I was completely blown away by the Taylor 210e's sound and playability. Its wide and clear registry just amazed me compared to any other sub-1000$ guitar. Needless to say, I dumped the Yamaha and snatched up my first Taylor! Do yourself a favor and check this bad boy out!
The workmanship is classic Taylor. Flawless.
Taylor quality, high end sound and playability, and killer electronics make the 210e a steal for less than a grand!!
